gatorbillmsu
We moved into Baxter this school year. My daughter has never played Lacrosse, but has had an interest. I have been told that even though she attends Upperman, that she can go over to Cookeville to play Lacrosse. (only because it is not offered at her school) As a freshman (this year), with Basketball being her only competitive experience, is there a chance that she could even make the team at Cookeville next year? Basically, is it worth putting the time in to learn the sport, or is this team pretty well locked up, and she would be on the outside looking in anyways? any help would be appreciated. (she would rather play football or icehockey, /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> but my wife has always told her no. She likes the physical side of basketball, so I think this sport could be a good spot for her)

Im a senior on the mens team and both boys and girls do not hold tryouts. Since she plays basketball lacrosse would be good for her. You can go to cookevillelax.org and click on the girls lacrosse link at the bottom if you want more information.
