CAK at Pigeon Forge

Did tarr play?

Yes. He scored the second goal on an assist from Zack Propes. Our first goal was scored by Ryan Brooksbank on a header of a Chesney corner kick.

Pigeon Forge score first on a miscleared corner kick, and went up 1-0 and the half ended that way. They had some quality inside midfielders, and always had numbers up in the back. We usually don't do very well on a small field, and Pigeon Forge pressured very quickly.

I thought this was the best team that Coach Mosley has had. He has done a great job there. They were great hosts (although that guy that was yelling VERY loudly in spanish the ENTIRE game got a little overwhelming at times! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ) It was a beautiful day to play some soccer, and what a view that field has of the mountains!

Congrats, Catholicsoccer, on your win against Elizabethton.

Just curious about Tarr.... How does he decide what games to play? Is it only elimination games? Does he start when he plays? I haven't seen CAK play this year so I am not familiar with the personnel like who plays his position when he is not there.

We go mainly on a game by game basis. He will be ready for the state tournament.

We have played a wide variety of line ups with different personel. It really depends on who our opponent is, and what we are trying to do (more attack, more defense, more possession, etc.)

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
