2009 Baylor Summer Wrestling Camps

June 8 ??“ 12

Chattanooga, TN

 

 

The Baylor School is excited to host three affordable wrestling camps this summer to accommodate wresters of any skill level!! Baylor is proud to welcome back 04??™ alum, 2008 NCAA Champion, Jordan Leen as our featured clinician. Jordan, along with Indiana University??™s Head Coach Duane Goldman headlines our list of guest clinicians that will lead the technique sessions each and everyday. Our team camps will be conducted to benefit wrestlers and coaches from a competitive standpoint, as well as a technical one. We will combine teams for competition reasons to ensure each and every wrestler is on a team. The camp will teach basic mental and physical preparation for competition. Baylor??™s staff is committed to inspiring the next generation of wrestlers. We hope you will join us this summer!!!!

 

Team Competition/Technique (June 8-12)

Baylor??™s Team Camp is designed for any varsity eligible wrestling interested in a highly competitive training experience. Each team will be assigned a NCAA wrestler who will help to assist and coach the whole week.

??? Ages: rising 8th - 12th grade

??? $275 (Boarding), $175 (Commuter)

??? $25 off each registration if 10 or more wrestlers register from one team.

??? Dorm space is limited so make sure you get your deposits in ASAP.

 

Advanced Technique (June 9-12)

This camp is designed for any wrestler desiring a highly competitive and informational training experience at a great affordable price!! Advanced Technique Campers will join the Team/Boarding campers for the morning technique instruction everyday.

??? Ages: 10-18

??? $75 (Day Camper)

??? 9 am ??“ 11:30

 

Beginners Camp (June 8-12)

Baylor??™s Varsity coaches Jim Morgan and Schaack Van Deusen will teach the basic fundamentals wrestling to wrestlers who are new to the sport.

??? Ages: 7-13

??? $145 (Day Camper)

??? 8 am ??“ noon

Located on the Tennessee River right outside downtown Chattanooga, Baylor??™s expansive 670-acre is the perfect location for a memorable summer camp experience away from home. Campers will enjoy access to facilities that rival many colleges, campers enjoy:

 

??? Air conditioned dorm rooms and training facilities

??? Dining Hall facility serving 3 meals a day (Boarding Only)

??? University style student center featuring snack bar, grille, games, and TV??™s

??? Olympic Size indoor swimming pool & Outdoor Pool
