FYI...I DH'd for her half of the season last year, and it was her first year to be in the starting lineup... She needed some experience. She has been faithfully taking hitting lessons and playing year round and it is paying off. I always knew she had it in her, she just had to find it herself... and lucky for me (our team) she finally believes in the talent we have always known she has... And isn't it like that for most players? Sometimes it takes a year or two to come into your own!

 

And thats why u bunted her EVERY time u LET her bat last year????? Because she was coming into HER OWN!!!!

This is actually Amber's THIRD homerun! She had an in-the-park homerun at MJCA. Their field is really deep and there were not errors on the play (it helps that she is fast as lightning!) She and I have agreed that she is aiming for 8 homeruns this year at least!
