10th Annual Ohio Stingrays College Exposure Showcase and Tournament

The Ohio Stingrays College Exposure Showcase is now accepting applications for their 10th annual event held in Columbus Ohio July 9th - 11th, 2010 (10u - 18u). There were 88 teams from 9 states playing in 2009 - we will have 112 teams total in 2010. This is one of the premier events in the Midwest and it attracts college coaches from many different conferences. Last year's event hosted 38 colleges and universities with 57 coaches in attendance - and that was with Saturday being a rainout day!! The application and selection process used to set the field enables us to assure that the event will be one of the most competitive fields of the summer. The college coaches know they will see quality players and games throughout the tournament.

The application process is now open. It will close November 14th and the field will be set by November 23rd at the latest. Yes this is a July event - but the interest in this tournament is such that Midwest teams plan their summers around it.

While all this holds true for the 16U and 18U age groups. the same can be said for the younger age groups. Although our event is heavily weighted toward the older age groups, the younger ones come to play as well!!! From top to bottom this field is among the best competition teams will play all year. A team coming from outside the Midwest region would get a lot of attention from a group of coaches that they would not normally see. Schools only have a certain amount of scholarship money to give out. Being seen by different schools can only help. So come out and play in a very competitive event, benefitting a GREAT CAUSE.
