The tournament is being held at Cleveland High School. Here is the information. Let me know if you have questions.

DATES: SATURDAY, APRIL 17, 2010

 

LOCATION: JONES WRESTLING CENTER

850 RAIDER DR.

CLEVELAND, TN 37311

 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

WEIGH-INS: 7:00 – 7:30 A.M.

WRESTLING STARTS: 8:30 A.M.

*FREESTYLE COMPETITION FIRST, GRECO-ROMAN WILL FOLLOW

REGISTRATION: ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DONE THROUGH TRACKWRESTLING BY 11:00 P.M. CENTRAL TIME ON THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 2010. NO EXCEPTIONS!! YOU MUST GO TO THE FOLLOWING LINK TO PAY AND REGISTER:

MAKE SURE TO REGISTER FOR BOTH TOURNAMENTS. YOU WILL NOT BE REGISTERED FOR THE TOURNAMENT UNTIL YOU COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION PROCESS AND PAY. ABSOLUTELY NO WALK-INS AND NO PAYING AT THE DOOR!

 

ENTRY FEE: $15 FOR BOTH STYLES

 

INSURANCE: EACH PARTICIPANT WHO HAS A VALID USA WRESTLING CARD WILL BE COVERED WITH THEIR CARD. THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE A VALID USA CARD WILL BE CHARGED THE $15 ENTRY FEE AND AN ADDITIONAL $10 FOR A USA LEAGUE CARD.

 

DIVISIONS AND WEIGHT CLASSES:

BANTAM (2002-2003), INTERMEDIATE (2000-2001), NOVICE (1998-1999), SCHOOLBOY (1996-1997), CADET (1994-1995), JUNIOR (9/1/1990 & AFTER, PLUS ENROLLED IN GRADES 9-12). GO TO http://www.themat.com/forms/Weights.pdf FOR ALL WEIGHT CLASS INFORMATION. *WEIGHT CLASSES AND DIVISIONS MAY BE COMBINED TO ENSURE EACH WRESTLER THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF MATCHES.

 

CONCESSIONS: A FULLY STOCKED CONCESSION STAND WILL BE OPEN

DURING THE TOURNAMENT. NO COOLERS ALLOWED IN THE FACILITY!

 

ADMISSION: $3 FOR KIDS, $6 FOR ADULTS

      “Marion added 2 big time transfers but ER is still better as a whole. ER has a better QB/RB/TE than Marion I’ll give Marion the edge at Receiver for now. ER O line will be improved from last year though. Marion is the second best team in all of 2A imo behind ER and ahead of Huntingdon.” As I said in the ER thread. Huntingdon physicality could make problems for Marion if they do meet in the state championship. ER does still have more speed than Marion as of now. I’m gonna go watch the highlights of the two transfers and get back to yall and see if my perspective has changed.
