It looks as if politics have swayed another all state selection. Its not about statistics or how good you are. Its now about who you know or who your mom and dad knows. Maybe one day the TSWA and the TBCA can put together a list that fully deserves the honor.

I won't disagree that politics have a way of influencing all things like this.....but the first place you need to go to with your complaints are to the coaches.

 

If you are not nominated....there is no way of being selected. So before you question TSWA or TBCA, talk to the coach and see if he bothered to send in his kids for nominations.

My goodness how many All-State Teams are there...This is the second list put out. Once again, congrats to all players listed.

hard to believe that the memphis area player of the year and the highest high school draft pick in the entire state can't be on the all-state team (taylor morton/bartlett)
