TC has always had very talented football teams, but dude, there IS a such thing as class; and the 96-0 did not display in the slightest, class. In fact, I think it did the opposite. I personally lost respect for TC at that point (or the Coach).

No, you don't have to tell the 9th graders not to score. I wish I had the exact stats right in front of me, but I do recall there being alot of passes from TC in the 4th quarter. If TC had class, they would have been doing nothing but rushing (keeping the clock rolling), and trying to kick field goals, instead of scoring TD's.

How many points are too many?--well, if you guys were just kicking field goals and not trying to get in the endzone everytime, then there is not a 'too many points' rule, in my book. That would at least show some class. I mean, you guys were playing Red freaking Boiling Springs.....dude...really? How hard would it have been that night to run 70~ yards then kick a field goal from the 10?...heck, even run 50 yards, then punt the ball.

Class, Stinger.....Class.

And no, I am not defeding Union City in the BlueCross Bowl in '05. Union at least had a defense, and were ranked in the top 5 that year--more power to ya for that win; RBS on the other hand, did not have a defense to speak of, and where were they ranked that year........exactly.

Class- something the 2005 TC coach did not have.

He probably was trying to compensate for other SHORT--comings.... : )

Maxiepad your posts are becoming dreadfully stale. In no way were these two games glorified as TC's best ever. Please reread #10 on my list. It appears that you are somewhat IGNORANT when it comes to text abbreviations. Because the last time I checked "JK" means just kidding. Don't know about you, but I enjoy spicing up my posts for a laugh. I'm the one with no class Maxiepad. Not TC football. But whatever. You can come on here and slam the 2005 team and talk about Clint's junk all you want. Don't bother me none. Well maybe it does. It seem as if you have some sort of Freudian envy for our old coach.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
