have seen halls,gibbs,central and oak ridge. anyone seen powell or hardin valley? CLINTON,CAMPBELL CO. ALSO?

 

Here is my overall breakdown of the teams. I have seen them all except Karns and Gibbs.

 

Oak Ridge - Athletic and Long - Will pressure - Half-court offense is questionable but in most games it won't be needed.

 

Clinton - Young and inexperienced - Lots of freshmen will play

 

Halls - Fundamentally sound - Not flashy but will grind it out with solid defense and disciplined half-court offense - Randy Moore will have a solid team.

 

Central - Not many players - Nothing has changed

 

Powell - Athletic with a good young nucleus - Will suprise some teams

 

Anderson County - Young and Younger - Will play mostly Sophs and Freshman

 

Campbell County - Big and athletic - Can pound the ball and pressure. Will be there in the end.

 

Karns - ???????????? I don't expect a powerhouse

 

Gibbs - Taylor Mills has gone to Kennesaw State - Need I say more

 

Hardin Valley - Improving - Should be the best girl's team they have had so far!

 

Here are my picks.

 

1. CAMPBELL COUNTY

2. OAK RIDGE

3 - 5. POWELL/HARDIN VALLEY/HALLS (It's a toss up)

 

6. KARNS

7. ANDERSON COUNTY

8. CENTRAL

9. CLINTON

Gibbs is in District 4...AA

 

I think Hardin Valley and Halls are the teams to beat in this District.

Campbell Co. lost their best player and Oak Ridge cannot score or defend in the Half Court.

 

 

 

This District is extremely weak I don't think it will fair very well versus District 4 AAA where you have teams like Maryville, Farragut, West, and William Blount..a group of teams that would be the hands down favorite to win District 3 ...also don't sleep on Lenoir City

who was the player campbell co. lost? i did see hardin valley and o.r. play. they look to be the ones to beat in this district. the only team i havent seen is campbell.co.?
