East Robertson will dominate like always and their two best pitchers will probably see very little pitching time, will probably have number 3 pitcher on the mound every game, Houston County will have hitting but lost all its pitching, Nashville Christian doesn't have the coaching unless it changed and no pitching, well they have a good pitcher if her parents weren't trying to coach, McEwen is always young, and the rest are well always the same.

District 10-A will be a fight this year.Going to be lots of competition I don't believe one team will dominate.East Robertson,Houston County,McEwen,WHH,Nashville Christian,Jo Byrns should all be neck and neck. @ moroonatic, you should know the district before you make comments.East Robertson did not dominate last year so that "as usual" comment you made does not apply. They didn't make it to state and was beaten by Nashville Christian at home last year, but it is a new year anything is possible.

It will be hard to determine what happens in this district. Coach Evans brings a lot of experience to the East Robertson team, Houston County should be decent with the players they have coming back. Then there is Heritage. They have a new coach and she is working the ladies harder than ever before. Sam Cook will be leading the pitching duties and will be a strong hitter for them as well. Then there is Hailey Stone, who is proven to be a successful player, both defensively and offensively. Good luck to all of District 10A.

Thanks kats for the history of the district, just so you know i've been around the district for 8 years. Now for the word dominate, East has lost 1 yes just 1 district game in the last 2 years, 3 in the last 5 years, so what do you call domination?Yes, they lost to Nashville Christian at home last year and that was a fluke, they had already run ruled NCS at their place and again at the district tournament, that was also a shutout. That one win against East was probably the biggest softball win in NCS history. NCS had the 2nd best team in the district last year but they had no coaching. The previous coaches started building that program and improved the facilities and then were ran off for their hard work.

No, not associated or have never been with NCS, just stating a point as to why they haven't been successful and won't be in the near future.

"Haven't been successful"?You mean not even when the program building, facility improving coach was there, you know the one that supposedly got run off?

Anyway good luck to all the teams in District 10-A and there coaches....

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
