Bolivar vs. Jackson Southside

These two teams meet in Bolivar on Tuesday (1/7/03). Southside has been playing very good ball this year. Bolivar played two close games in Dyer County, which hopefully will get them prepared for the Hawks. The Tigers defeated the Hawks four times last year. It should be a packed house as usual when theses two teams play. Bolivar plays at Covington Saturday and I hope they will not be looking ahead.

Bolivar should win this game very bad because Bolivar defeated Haywood and SouthSide can't beat Haywood So Bolivar should beat SouthSide 90 to 50 you can't beat Bolivar Central.

Bolivar wins 75-55 in a packed house. Southside fell behind early 24-10 after one quarter and could never recover. Bolivar had four players in double figures.

Lake 16, Wiley 16, Walker 14, and W. Kemp had 12 with 8 assists. The game at Southside will be much closer.
