FYI. Not sure how many people know. but TSSAA is going to have 8 girls teams advance to Chatt. next year. They are doing it just like th boys--- both Region finalists will advance on. Good news for all

I love the idea of having 8 teams in the mix for the tourney. As member of a team who has participated in the tournament, given their all and made it to Chattanooga for the finals twice, I believe, like many others, that this gives teams an ever better chance to showcase their talent, not to mention, extend a season that most wish was longer anyway...esp. graduating seniors !

It is a good move by TSSAA.

 

If seeded correctly, the liklihood of a true state champion

and finalist will now happen at the state level instead of

a great team being eliminated at the region level.
