dude. MLK is a very good team. They are small, young and very athletic. Look for them to press and take really good care of the ball. Their point guard is capable of putting points on the board by shooting three's or driving to the basket. In my opinion i would put a two three zone on them and make them play defense for at least 20 to 30 seconds every trip. don't run the ball because the will drill you in the ground.

Both of the above post's are correct. MLK is very young, but very athletic. MlK is primarily Sophomores and Freshman. Greenbrier is also young, playing primarily Sophomores as well. MLK is well coached...whether you like Coach Shelton or not....he can still coach. His team will be well disciplined. What you can expect from MLK, is full court pressure and solid defense. Sophomore Johnny Lee could be the best point guard in this district. He will break you down off the dribble and pull up to shoot. He has all the tools to be a great point guard. Greenbrier will have to put ball pressure on him, like they did with Stanton (Springfield) and Felker (Macon County), using differnt defenders. MLK has already proven they are capable of beating good teams.....they beat Brentwood Acadamey at BA, beat Portland by 20, and beat East Lit by 22. Greenbrier will have to control the tempo, handle MLK's pressure, and make their free throws. They can't miss 18 free throws against MLK and win.

This should be a great match up between two very young and talented sophomore classes. These two teams should give us some great games to watch over the next couple of years. Greenbrier has a solid Freshman class this year, as well as MLK.

Good luck to both schools....and let's hope it doesn't snow. :D
