SOFTBALL

It is a sport;

Certainly not the only one

And, to many people, not the most important one.

Nonetheless

It requires

Skill

Talent

Heart

Desire

Intelligence

Execution

Strategy

Teamwork

To do it right.

 

Softball is a game.

It is fun to play, to watch, to coach.

Only one team in each classification ends its season

With a win.

Yet, all over the state

Girls are hard at work to be that one team;

Champions, we call them.

 

But to me,

Every girl who tries

Every girl who plays

Every girl who gives everything to be a champion

ALREADY IS A CHAMPION!!!
