As we all celebrate Phillip Simpson's 3rd place NCAA finish, I hate that I must now be the bearer of bad news. The Chattanooga TV stations, and TimesFreepress have just reported discovering the body of Lou Hudson, from an apparent bicycling accident. Lou wrestled for McCallie in the 1960's and then went on t0 U. of Michigan where he was team captain and Big 10 champion. For those of us oldies who have seen the best in Tennessee, Lou was one of the best. I might be wrong here, but was always told Lou placed 4th in the NCAA. Wheither he did or didn't, we have lost a great one, and should keep his family in mind.
