WESTVIEW vs. RIPLEY SCRIMMAGE

THIS WAS A GOOD SCRIMMAGE TODAY BETWEEN WESTVIEW AND RIPLEY. WE (WESTVIEW) CAME OUT ON TOP 28-7. IT WAS A DOWN AND DISTANCE SCRIMMAGE WITH FIELD GOALS AND PUNTING. WESTVIEW LOOKED REALLY GOOD OUT THERE AGAINST A BIGGER RIPLEY TEAM. WE CAME OUT AGGRESSIVE AND STRONG. THE LINE REALLY CAME OFF THA AND CREATED SOME GOOD HOLES FOR THE RUNNING BACKS TO RUN THRU. THE RECIVERS CAUGHT THE BALL WELL AND HAD SOME BIG PLAYS. THE DEFENS CAME OUT AGGRESSIVE AND INTENSE AND REALLY TURNED THE MOMENTUM AROUND. OUT YOUNG GUYS ARE STEPPING UP AND PEEKING AT THE RIGHT TIME. GOOD SCRIMMAGE GUYS AND KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO CHARGERS!!!!!!

This score is a little surprising.From what I've heard Westview was supposed to be down this year and Ripley was supposed to be loaded.Is Ripley all hype or was it a case of just not wanting to play that day.

WHY ARE U SURPRISED BY THE SCORE? WE JUST OUTPLAYED AND OUTHUSTLED RIPLEY. WE WANTED TO PROVE TO EVERYONE THAT WE HAVE A GOOD TEAM AND WE WON'T BE A PUSH-OVER. WE HAVE A GOOD TEAM AND WHEN WE PLAY TOGETHER WE ARE VERY TOUGH TO BEAT. WE HAVE ANOTHER TOUGH SCRIMMAGE TOMMORROW AGAINST A VERY GOOD LEXINGTON TEAM AND THIS WILL LET US KNOW HOW CONSISTENT WE WILL BE THIS YEAR AND HOW WE WILL BE AGAINST THE TEN GOOD TEAMS WE PLAY THIS SEASON.

No offense meant by the statement KEEPYAGAMETIGHT I was just surprised b/c I know Ripley is loaded with talent and usually a team that is loaded doesn't get whipped like that by a team that's suppose to be rebuilding.

We actually are rebuilding this year. But one the we are NOT is a pushover. It doesnt matter that we are rebuilding. We are still gonna be a tought team to beat this year. Also,put this in mind,if we are rebuilding this year eimagine the team we will have next year. All of our sophmores and juniors that are starting and getting a lot of playing time this year will be veterans next year and the year after that. We are going to be very dangerous...
