Lewis Co.- Has won yet another Region title no matter what happens in the Harpeth game. But expect Coach Sharp and the rest of Lewis Co. to come out ready to play and secure an undefeated regular season.

 

Cheatam Co.- Can clinch 2nd place with a win over Fairview. If they lose to Fairview and Lewis Co. wins then they get 3rd in the region. If Fairview wins and Harpeth wins, then they still get second due to more overall wins.

 

Harpeth -Can get no higher than third in the region. If they lose and Fairview loses then Harpeth wins the head to head tie-breaker and get 3rd in the region. If they lose and Fairview wins then they will finish 4th in the region.

 

Fairview- Has the most to gain this week. With a win against Cheatam Co. and a Harpeth loss against Lewis they will clinch 2nd in the region due to head to head tiebreaker. If they win and Harpeth wins then Cheatam gets 2nd, then Harpeth, and 4th goes to Fairview.If Fairview loses they finish fourth.

I agree with the Lewis County/Harpeth score but not the Fairview/Cheatam County score. I think that Cheatam will beat Fairview and take 2nd place in the region.

Well I am sorta biased towards Fairview, but I know they have it in them to upset the Cubs. They will have to play turnover free ball and get on top of Cheatam Co, early. I think with it being senior night and 2nd place in the region on the line, the Jackets will come out ready to play. Look for BIG JOE Hudigins, Charlie Hilgerson, Dusty England, Jarrod Mangrum and the rest of the seniors to have a big night. Also Bobby Martin will also have to have a big night if they would like to pull out the win.

Well both of my predictions were correct with Lewis Co and Fairview both winning. I dont know the Lewis- Harpeth score but the Fairview-Cheatam score was 32-30. So here is the final order for Region 5-2A.

 

1. Lewis Co.

2. Fairview

3. Cheatam Co.

4. Harpeth

 

Now let's go and teach Region 6-2A how to play some football.
