What is your opinion on McMinn Central?

Hey hobbit87 I like your signature. I think that Central will be good this year. They will have to work hard if they want to make it to state, but I think they can do it. There are a lot of good teams out there they will have to beat. Good luck to the Chargerettes this year!

I saw where McMinn Central beat Seymour by 4 points. Anyone have any info on that game?

It was a very good game. The game was not that really exciting. Everyone in the stands just had that feeling that Central was in control. Seymore is a very good team though. They will cause a lot of teams problems especially with their outside shooting.

How did their post player (Johnson) do? Does McMinn have any players that size?

Central is good. But some of the credit has to go to Asst. coach Joe Young. He is a Great Coach. We all hope he will be given a chance to take the team when Coach Morgan retires.

It was a good game. Big post girl was not very aggressive. The smaller post #23 was much more of a threat and more aggressive. Central was in control the whole game, but could not pull away from them or put them away. Foul troubles for both teams. Lee got them started big time but then cooled. Other two seniors did not have a big night. Got some good relief time from a couple of girls off of the bench to help rest the seniors. Seymour will cause a lot of teams problems this year. They are very well coached. The same coach also coached the boys which is very unusual. Does Central play them again?

mbuckley your very right... it was a very exciting game the second half. Mcminn central will once again have a great year (not as good as they have been in the past, but still good). If they work hard and keep playing well they should make it to state. I will say this about the seymour and central game though... seymour has a hugeeeeeeee post player that can really dominate!!! I think I heard she was 6'5

Central very talented with three D1 players. IF they don't win district. Morgan should be ashamed. Not another school in the district with as many talented players. Any team with three D1 girls should be at the top.

Yeah Mike, this is Adam. I think you are just hating on the Chargerettes because you know they are going to romp all over the Cherokees this season AGAIN! That's ok though because I support both of the high schools in McMinn County unlike the Cherokees who bash in our metal Charger after the kill us in football.
