Class A Best of the West

I just wandered who everyone thought would prevail this season in class A of the west Tn teams.

I think the best single A girls teams in west tn. are trenton,dresden, usj, gleason and huntingon.

I'm not sure why all this Gleason bashing is going on. I don't see the Gleason faithful knocking Trenton, Dresden, Huntingdon or any of the other teams in the area.

 

Gleason is for sure a good team in NW Tenn. The best? Well, we will see come tourney time. Youth can be both a strong point and a weakness to any team.

 

Huntingdon and Trenton, are probably the top picks right now, but you can't count out Gleason or Dresden. Both teams are very talented and coached particularly well. These teams will probably be in the region final four. Yes, we're aware that Huntingdon put a good beating on Gleason at Huntingdon. But, didn't Dresden beat Huntingdon? Didn't Gleason beat Dresden at Dresden? It's too bad that Gleason and Trenton don't play in the regular season.

 

I think there are several good teams in this area, any one of which could beat the other on any given night.

 

Thats my two cents. Good luck to all the area teams.

Gleason has impressed me!

 

Beat Camden by a bunch, waited for the boys game to get over & about 4 of them were back on the court working on their 3-point shot when we left the gym late!

 

Gleason girls hustled hard both games (CHS & at Gleason), won big without a lot of height, and played a great game!

 

The season will tell the story. I think they will show what they are worth, and THAT may be where all of the "bashing" is coming from!
