One year ago last week, Spencer Manley (McCallie School) set a National High School Record for the fastest pin (4 seconds) in his weight range. Though it took a while to verify and receive recognition for his accomplishment, he is now identified officially by WrestlingUSA Magazine. The duration of the match was unique but getting pinned by Spencer is all too common. Anyone who has watched him wrestle has to be impressed with how quickly and how deadly he can strike. Congratulations Spencer on your outstanding accomplishment.

 

Note: Also included in the national recognition list are Hunters Lane wrestling teams of the late 80’s and early 90’s who were coached by Doug Newman and continue to hold six “top ten” records in several categories for most takedowns.

That is great. I know Spencer's dad is really proud. I have watch him since he was 7 years old and Knew he was going to be a good one. Hope he gets to go on in college.
