District 14A Regular Season MVP

Courtney Alvey of USJ is hands down, no contest, not even close the best player in District 14A this season. She showed it night after night as USJ won the regular season title and the tournament title. Crystal Eason from Scotts Hill is a good player, but she definitly was NOT the best player in the district this year. It is a terrible shame when a player is given an award based on her past. If Eason was the MVP ot 14A in regular season, why did USJ hold her to 17 and 15 points respectively in their two meetings which were blowouts and why did Scotts Hill get bumped from the tournament in the first game to END their season. And in both of those regular season contests between USJ and Scotts Hill, Eason took awful shots, did not hustle and looked like she could have cared less-some MVP! Alvey was named tournament MVP and rightfully so, but she should have been given the credit for a great regular season she deserves.
