No, CosbyEagle im not who you think i am, i didnt get a chance to go to the girls game... how did they do by the way? You do know me though, if i see you at the game tuesday ill come up and introduce myself. Go Big Blue!!!!

They played great...Harriman didn't shoot very well early and our girls got hot.

It got a little scary when they tried to make a comeback in the 2nd half.

The Lady Eagles should have a test Wednesday night.

I'll be at the rest of the games ( I hope it's a lot).

Tomorrow I think it will be a white shirt with Cosby Eagles on the front :D

ShaniaGuy is trying to talk me into staying for CAK/Rockwood tom.

but I have to work early Weds.

Im glad to hear that the Cosby girls did well. Its always great when the games run close a time or two, that is what makes it so fun to watch. Ill look for you tommorrow but i dont know what ill wear, (thats what makes it bad about being a girl). Im goin to try and stay for the CAK/Rockwood game, i really want to see it, plus ill be pulling for the Tigers. Shaniaguy is right CAK doesnt represent thier school the way they should, I mean come on it is a Christian school. But im not going to say anymore about that. Anyways with all that said I'll be in Rockwood tommorrow, cheering on the Eagles, and then later on if im not to tired ill even yell for the Tigers a time or two. Go Big Blue!!!

CAK the Underdog ? I'm not buying that one, CAK is the higher seed, ya know that's what the number 2 by your team's name in the bracket means. Wished I could see the Wartburg vs Cosby game, let me know if they have any fans getting 'cuffed on the gym floor like last year, lol.

Reguardless of "Rank", Cak IS the underdog.....I wouldn't want to play Rockwood @ home.

Hey unclejed, lets not get into what happened last year, you dont know what it was over... ok. Plus the man that was handcuffed is special to the Eagle team and their fans, so joking around about him isnt going to be taken lightly. And i could see CAK being considered and underdog, they are hated by everyone, and its not because no one wants to play them that isnt it at all, they are no threat. But its because they are cocky, self-centered, and "overrated". I think CAK needs to add an etiquette and manners class to their program, and then make the class required. Go Big Blue!!!!

Loco, ive always wondered who you were. Is there anyway i could find out tommorrow maybe?

Prob not...but to limit it down a bit....ill be sitting in the Rockwood section, prob burning up....and em prob upset at the refs for a bad call. Well that doesn't really limit it down. But anyways...whats with all these Cosby fans hating on CAK....you guys must not be to fond of each other.

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
