2004 Bruin Open

Saturday, May 1st:

 

-Tournament will be held in Brentwood High’s gym

 

-Must have a current USA Wrestling card (may be purchased at registration)

 

-Registration fee is $10 per wrestler

 

-Freestyle only

 

-Registration and weigh-ins from 8:00 – 9:30 (I am taking Friday evening weigh- ins from some out of town teams, so if you’d like to do that instead, email me

your wrestlers’ name, weight, age division, date of birth, and USA card # by

6:00 pm. If they don’t have a card yet, they can get it at registration on

Saturday morning. They do need to be within 4 lbs. of their weight class on

Saturday morning.)

 

-Wrestling starts at 10:00 and will go until we are done. The tournament is

double elimination. If there are weight classes with only 2-3 wrestlers, we’ll do

a round robin or best of 3.

 

-Medals will be given to the top 3 in each weight class and age division.

 

-There will be a concession stand available.

 

-Gate cost is $5 a person, non-wrestling children under 12 free.

 

If you have any wrestlers with officiating experience, or knowledge of freestyle rules that would like to officiate, have them tell me at registration and we’ll waive their registration fee.
