Anybody know the outcome of this game?  I believe if Claiborne wins, they will be tied with South Greene for 3rd place.  If they lose, I think it is a 3-way tie for 4th place between Claiborne, West Greene and Rutledge.  I don't know about the draws.

Rutledge has the tie-breaker and West Greene already lost...so if Claiborne lost then Rutledge is fourth. After that I don't know.

 

Congrats to the Lady Tigers! First team to go undefeated in district regular season since Claiborne County in either 2000 or 2001...probably both.

South Greene has the higher number so they are automatically guaranteed 3rd place. Also, South Greene went perfect in the district last year.

And they probably would have done much better this year if they hadn't had all the inner problems (coach, etc.) Tweed was a big player for them last year. Without Brooke & Brittany, next year will be hard for them. Brittany had 21 points against us and Brooke had 18 - that's 39 of their team's 49 points.

 

By the way, South Greene & Pigeon Forge were Co-Champions in the district the year before last. thumb

      Regrettably, I find myself unable to provide a solution to this predicament. While ordinarily, I might suggest reaching out to the Athletic Director(s) for assistance, the absence of such a figure in our institution, due to the departure induced by actions of the school board, leaves us without a clear avenue for resolution.

      If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..
