CSAS looks good for a young team. Starting pitcher Ian Phillips, a jr, can throw with the best when he's healthy. His fastball is dangerous, got a good change-up too. hope he's not hurt, he needs to lead the team.

Unaka, once the basketball players get back (feel free to take the whole week, guys, and bring the Gold with you, AGAIN); and IF ....the field ever gets dry, will be a very good baseball team.

 

They have two talented Left Handers - Randy Swearingen (will learn to spell his name some day) and Daniel McInturff; Tee Blevins is a very good Right Hander.

Brent Huskins keeps getting better behind the plate. Travis Pasquale is a true Power-Hitter; Tyler McCann returns, and others.

 

They lost a few very good ones to graduation: Rusty Chambers, Cody Collins, Chad Lewis (King College); but that's the way the world turns.

Csas is an embrassment for the chattanooga area . You have to play on a half baseball and half soccer field. What the F***?

Last time anyone checked, East Ridge had a building in sight distance of the baseball field named after Curtis Adams. Talk about something to take pride in!!!

What is it, like 275 ft. to left center and 900 ft. to center?

 

Rearrange the field, put up some storm fencing, plant some grass, build some dugouts, get some bleachers, etc. That same field was being used when Riverside played there!

still i don't think phillips is as good as some of the other pitchers in 6AA... take a look at the ones from hixson, grundy and east ridge... that would be an impressive staff if you just took the top 2 or 3 from each...
