How did the 16-under ASA State go? Who won? Qualified? etc...?

Knoxville Thunder 93 is Tennessee ASA State Champs in 16U. They went 6-0 and beat Fury 94 in championship game by forfeit. Fury 94 threw in the towel (don't know why). I don't think they had anything for the Thunder anyways. Knoxville Thunder looks to be the best team in the state by winning the last two ASA tournaments in Tennessee. Congratulations to the players and coaches, job well done! Fury 94 did qualify for Nationals.

Have not kept up TN 16u this year, but how can a 93 team win the 16u. No one on the team can have a 93 birthday and be playing 16u.

That is a old post. The 94 Mustangs defeated the Fury 95 to win the 2011 16U ASA State this year. Great game between two good teams.

Not sure if there is a link on the ASA website detailing the order of finish. I think the top 5 looked like this:

1. Mustangs

2. Fury 95

3. Fury 94

4. Knoxville Blaze

5. Chattanooga Force
