No Coalfield fan would say that. We hate losing to greenback. It worse this year because this should have been our year and it will be awhile before we can get back to this level if ever. Coalfield only problem with greenback is they got better recruiter than ours. They get Maryville, Knox Catholic, and Alcoa players. We stuck with Oakdale, Warburg, or Oliverspring. Win or lose this is the game I always look forward to.

Starting this season LB was our weakest position imo. Looking back wasn't conditioning the problem it depth. Many boys played every play, even #54 #59. Them two would be double and #54 sometimes tripled for over 100 plays. Didn't have anyone to give them a brake. Had to say that because I have complained about conditioning. Look at greenback past year's all you see is people taking about how dirty the players were. Silvey kid was worst kid for late hits even greenback fans talked about all the personal fouls greenback got. Anytime there a big pileup refs could throw flags. Not a man on here who played didn't hit, kick, even pinch when you got in on something like that. Camera just caught Coalfield kid. You right about coaches.

I'll take luck over magic any day and greenback has had it for sure. The one player a team can't lose both Sp and Coalfield gets hurt right off. Now cornersville qb might be out. I know Greenback is a great team and easily could still be getting ready to bring home a gold ball even if Parker or #22 didn't get hurt. Cornersvilles fairytale ends next week.

Get ready for it. Greenback is the worst place for grown fans cussing and yelling at players. You hear all kinds of things coming out of those trucks.

Greenback won both those games for one reason and its not because they were the better team. Its because Parker had to play with major injuries. That's a fact. Everything else is the excuses for losing with Parker hurt. I agree greenback coaching will probably beat Coalfield every year.

Wouldn't get on here calling out any Coalfield fans. I heard a grown man in his 30`s or 40`s cussing and calling Coalfield boys big wussy end zone by bathroom. Then a Coalfield man called him out on said saying what big tough guy he was for screaming at boys while standing behind a fence, told him he was going to see how tough he really was. That greenback man went stood somewhere else. Best thing I saw all night. Point being every school has those few that even their own fans don't want to stand by and sometimes someone will shut them up. I'll say this greenback has some of the worst adult fans for yelling and cussing at players. Refs coaches are fair game but if you are an adult you should never cuss at kids unless your prepared to meet their parents afterwards. I do think it because how they have trucks on visitors side, probably makes it easier to hear it.

Completely agree. Coalfield should never lost that first game they were the better team even with all the injuries that night. That loss belongs to coaches only imo. Last night can't put it all on coaches. If people are honest they have to admit Parker getting hurt completely changed everything. Greenback couldn't stop them. The big difference was greenback showed up to play in 1st quarter. With Parker in worse condition than the first game Coalfield would had to had no mistake, turnovers, or penalties. That didn't happen. When Parker got hurt if you watched their sidelines it was chaotic. Coaches sending kids on field then calling them right back. It's like they didn't know what to do. Can't blame them but the boys fed off it. Refs differently hurt. #7 59 34 1 78 all had a stomach virus. Three of the five missed four to two days of school. They kept it on the dl because so it wouldn't be on coaches t. Hate that Coalfield lost it this way. I would rather Parker been healthy and Greenback beat Coalfield. No way Greenback can win without Gilbert. He`s Coalfield Parker.

Greenback didn't beat Coalfield last time because they are a better team. Coalfield lost for a few reasons. Injuries is the first thing that stands out. Coalfield has about 9 players that play both sides do to all the injuries I believe only 4 played their regular position. Some did play one side like Parker but 2 starters out completely, one being best LB. Coalfield starters hadn't played two full quarters, showed in 4th. Parker not on defense was huge plus him not able run on offence. But imo what really lost Coalfield that game was they we're out coached. That night Coalfield was the better team. 24 to 7 starting 4th greenbacks coaches and Gilbert got it done. I still think we had the players to stop greenback but coaches didn't make the right adjustments. Coalfield handled Greenback fine with Parker injured. When Gilbert went out Greenback couldn't do much. Gilbert is just as important to greenback as Parker is. I think Coalfield line is better than Greenback, they just ran out of gas, that fall on coaches too. Greenback coaching and depth could give them the win. I think Coalfield is the better team all around. If Coalfield doesn't have injuries or stupid penalties(they are bad for that) tonight they win by 21imo.

Does anyone have the stats for the game. I thought radio said Marion only had around 130 offense yards.

This game can go either way. It's coalfield first and only test. Marion has two hard losses. They will be ready and be out to prove something. No way will they let a tiny little school like coalfield beat them. Coalfield schedule has been so weak can they be prepared for this type of game. Will be a good one for sure.
