We played a doubleheader. The same thing we have done for the last 4 years. 2 5 inning games at one place. we rotate fields each year to cut down on travel.

Are you sure UH has played Cloudland twice. I believe they have a makeup game so that would factor in as well. LOL They beat NG and lose to cloudland no change to yours. NG wins and they beat cloudland no change to yours. They lose both hampton 3 and them 4th no matter what. add that to your scanarios and wow. Let's wait till a few more games are in to iron this thing out. lol

We won 4 to 0. Nothing Impressive but it was a conference win.

We were cancelled monday due to rain. Being a conference game, we rescheduled it for today. Our field is still sloppy, so it may not happen. The Hancock game scheduled for today was cancelled.

Hey guys, Hats off to Unaka and Coach Ensor. You guys played well. Ryan is not hurt. Period. It was not his day to pitch. He was ready to throw a couple innings late if it was a close game. Mallicoat pitched and I thought he hit his spots well except a few. Unaka hit the ball very well and we made a few errors on top of that. With the hits it turned into a rough game. We brought a freshman in to thrown in the fourth. They still hit very well after that. I would dare sare Unaka has a great shot of substate and maybe farther. Good luck. We play Cloudland Monday and then UH on Friday of next week. Coach

What about Darkness on a tie game in extra innings. The game was completed but it was close. We were playing the last possible inning.

Looking like a good day for baseball. I think the field has survived, but I got plenty to do the next couple of hours!!!

We're not counting you out. It just tough not to give heads up to Unaka. As I said before, we're not great and even horrible on some days. Bordon does a good job and we know you'll be there. Also, Hampton is not bad either I hear. It may be a fun season. Cloudland may get somebody if we aren't careful. You can't overlook them this year.

A pleyer bunts to start the game. 1st and 3rd charge to make the play. 2nd moves to cover and then runs into the umpire. Since the umpire is part of the playing field is it a hit or an error. No way possible to tell if he would have been safe or out. Then the catcher throws anyway (to the outfield). THe runner advances to second on a errant thrrow. Never seen this before. Anywhere this is defined? What about an outfield who slides to make a catch? It hits his glove on the slide? Hit or error? Or does it depend on the play? (He did have to slide and the ball was in front of him) I went with error but am second guessing this one. The first one I don't know.

At North Greene, we charged $2.00 for everyone 7 and above. Very low crowds though since we don't have lights and play early.

I am in desparate need of another volunteer coach. Come on over and we will put you to work. I have said from the beginning we were not very good. Look at last night's scores. We got beat at Washburn 3-0 and 1-0. I told you we can't hit the ball. By the way, be carefule about bashing my kids. I am aloud to discuss my team but its very disturbing to me for someone who probably don't play get on here and bash. Be courteous and tell us who you are before you name drop!!!!!

LOL we got lucky!!! On both homeruns it was like a quick hurricane came...stunk in both balls.... carried them into the outfield and then dropped them behind the fence. Real freak thing I've never seen before.

Anybody got the lowdown on the SG / Unaka game yesterday. I was surprised at the score? What happened?

Our 2-0 win over Providence was unimpressive!!! We played ok but did not hit the ball very well.

I haven't seen many scores yet. I heard North beat SG yesterday. What was the score? What about WG and UC?Score?

Please don't tell me that was HV's best pitcher. Also, we were throwing a freshman. This is a jamboree. Nobody wants to show too much. I'll be honest now, I didn't have two seniors with me. Hopson and Peters. I would still like to know how UH looked. I have not heard anything at all about them. I do know they are playing in some tournament this week in Chattanooga maybe. Did they open on Monday?

For the 2nd time---Let me spell it out. 1.-4. Up for graps between everyone except NG 5. NG hands down- we couldn't beat some t-ball teams. Although Hopson will keep some games close.
