Eric Gordon is the best player in the nation.Gordon is better than Mayo...I don't just say that because I'm an Indiana fan either. Gordon is the real deal and will have a great NCAA and NBA career...Beside being the better player, EJ is the better person. EJ has a personality like no other, and doesn't show off like most tend to do. Think about that dunk he had, he just ran up the court without beating his chest or hollering into the air. You can't ask for much more than that. Mayo is a thug.

Think about dealing with Columbia Central all year long...the ignorance is great.

If Spring Hill beats Lewis County on Tuesday, that wraps up second place...right? If that happens, they are automatically into the region tournament, is THAT right? I recall after beating Page(sorry) last year that we secured second place, and everyone was raving about an automatic bid into the region tournament.

My Indiana Hoosiers will be traveling to Illinois Tuesday on ESPN and that's big game for them, so who knows? ha

If you want anyone's opinion on Loretto, don't ask Mustangs1000, he thinks they're the #1 team in the state. One thread he says Loretto by 8, another he says Loretto by 10....okay. It's okay to have confidence in your team, but there's a fine line between optimism and reality. Reality is, Loretto isn't good. Period.

Better than Giles my hind end. Just because they hang loose against Loretto doesn't mean they're no good...they come out FIRING everytime they play Spring Hill, 3 times last year and twice this year. And are you telling me that Lewis County is 2nd best in the district? I don't think so.

Wouldn't happen to have the stats for Spring Hill would you? If you do, and if you can post them it would be greatly appreciated...that was a game Spring Hill didn't even deserve to be in as flat as they came out. But I was happy of the outcome..great game for both sides.

Region 5 will only be tougher next year, there's going to be some GREAT football next year. I would most definetly be there rooting for Lipscomb Saturday, but I will be at an Indiana University basketball game. Best of luck to you guys and support Region 5 well...GO MUSTANGS

Well, big boy, that's where you're wrong...Spring Hill owns the county's only state championship. I don't care if it's from 1986, we have one, you don't. If Marco had a great team around him, why didn't they pick up his slack last night? Marco struggles, Mt.Pleasant struggles.

Whoa Whoa Whoa WHOA...MAYBE Mt.Pleasant lost my vote a couple years back after all the freaking trash they talked to everyone in the county...Yeah, how about our last 3 or 4 years? Let's talk about some 4A football shall we? So, are you going to start talking a bunch of crap about Columbia Central because they're losing now? This is why I don't like Mt.Pleasant anymore, they're good in 1A, and I root for them in the regular season, but I don't like hearing the trash you guys talk after you go to the quarterfinals of the playoffs, when you finally play teams that somewhat resemble the teams we have to play week in and week out. But congrats on a good season anyway...

No, Spring Hill...one of the schools in Maury County with Mt.Pleasant...it gets old hearing about how they believe they're the best in our county...Maybe this year, maybe last year...but in most years they aren't, but believe they are.

Well, if this doesn't prove to Mt.Pleasant fans that they're nothing without Dailey, I don't know what does...twice this year when Dailey gets shut down, and MP gets nailed.

It's read a question, I'm not saying people are hopping around the state saying it's going to be a one point game, I'm just wondering if anyone has that opinion.

I wouldn't say NO chance...I will say upset...but NO chance is stretching it a little...and if SH's crowd is anything like it was vs Lexington...David Lipscomb needs to work on silent snap counts...I don't think many high school teams out there can play against a rough crowd, and that's what I think Spring Hill will bring, this team has the ability, the heart, and the support...it's coming together at the right time and they're clicking on all cylinders, it will be closer than people think...I know it will be.
