  1. Very classy post from a Riverdale fan. By the way some talk, it's hard to believe they have much respect for anybody. But again, very classy!! Oh, by the way, WAY TO GO FALCONS!!! I don't know what it is about this team, but they seem to play better, both offensively and defensively, when they absolutely have to.
  2. That's fine with me. I just don't want to see a major collapse like last year and let them almost come back for the win after having a big lead. If it's close all the way, I can deal with it a little better. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Go Falcons!!!
  3. Very in-depth analysis... /wacko.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />
  4. Well, the reason I say upset, is Cookeville #3 seed, Smyrna #2.
  5. Yeah, I'm sure we don't do any weight training. This is the biggest factor, and the main reason region 4 fields so many good teams. Not only depth, but talent to choose from. Question: How do you coach 800-900 more students to enroll?? That's about what it comes down to.... Like has already been said, there are tips to maybe make somebody's 40 time a tick quicker, but you're not going to turn a 4.9 or 5.0 guy into a 4.4 guy. Revert back to larger school enrollment, more athletes to choose from to get the speed. Agreed. Speaking of LC only, we have a pretty tough out of region schedule, year in, and year out. You're right about Tullahoma, you better get there early. They pack that place!! Fayetteville does a good job supporting Lincoln County too, as you said.
  6. Excellent!! And true. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. Step up, that's what. It would be better than hearing every team in our region is weak over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over.......GET THE POINT?? Same typical BS. "We'll put our teams in, and you have no chance." I wish you people could read some of this crap from the other side.
  8. Like I said. Time to shut some region 4 mouths. CC, LC, WC, and/or Cookeville could score 100+ points every game, and Region 4 folks would still say we have no chance against even their last place team. Gimme a break....
  9. Nobody in Region 3 has a chance. Just go ahead and say it... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Region 4 is the nucleus of high school football.....yeah, we know......
  10. Get it done Coffee County!! Time to shut up some of these region 4 mouths.
  11. Read more of his posts, you'll have sugar plums in your dreams.... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  12. I've said it before, and I guess I'll say it again. The Blackman game was a pitiful display, and this LC team is much better than that. I want to see all of you back here after Friday night. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong. How 'bout the rest of ya's?
  13. Yeah, the lowly region 3. I sure hope for some realignment soon. I'm sicking of hearing that.
  14. Not sure if it's what you want, but there is a Shoney's right beside the school. Like bigeasyA said, several local sit down restaurants with good home cooked meals and buffet's.
  15. The difference back then was the dominant LC teams. We haven't had those kinds of teams in a long time. The pit WILL be rockin' this Friday night though. Heck, the Coffee County visitors side last Friday night was pretty loud on it's own. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. Bring it!! Everybody has had that opinion until they meet the LC defense in person. Especially the last 3-4 weeks of the season.
  17. You are dead on the bullseye. Old and stale. Defense is awesome this year though!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  18. And don't just pack it, MAKE SOME NOISE!! Not just in the last 2 minutes when the game is on the line, but every time Lebanon has the ball, especially on big 3rd down plays. Make the pit an intimidating place to play like it used to be. Let's rock the Pit!!!
  19. I didn't say I was talking specifically about WC and/or CC. I was replying to the generalized Region 4 vs. Region 3 post. And yes, most of those schools are much bigger, and have more talent to choose from than most Region 3 schools. Doesn't mean we have a lot of athletes that didn't go out.
  20. The pit will be alive this week. Believe it.
  21. Lebanon avgs 4.5 yards per carry on the ground, LC allows 3.8. Lebanon avgs 14.7 yards per reception with a 45% completion percentage, LC allows 11.7 yards per reception with a 41.8% completion percentage. Lebanon has scored 19.8 PPG while allowing 23.9. LC has scored 20.8 PPG while allowing 13.9.
  22. For anybody keeping score, LC held CC to a season low 140 yards on the ground for an also season low 3.18 YPC. +1 for me. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
