Man I remember the good ole days when I joined the T and Butchie was never ever on topic.

I do seem to remember him throwing a very nice deep ball in the CA game that couldn't have been thrown any better than it was by anyone. However to Shep's point for the most part it hasn't been necessary. However that doesn't mean he isn't capable.

I know the loss of Tyler will be huge. That said the team you guys brought out last Friday was far from a one man show so I'm sure you guys will find a way to reload and make a run into the playoffs again next year. Winning begats winning and with the teams you've had over the last couple years I bet there are some young men just itching to step up and carry on the tradition. Now you no that's not true and anyone who thinks it is doesn't no a thing bout football. Any of the 4 that are left could beat the others on any given night. It's going to come down to which teams make the fewest mistakes plain and simple.

What no props for the qb play last night? After he settle down he made a couple key throws on third downs to keep drives alive. Also was responsible for a couple yards rushing that keep the chains and the clock moving on the last couple drives.

So you think we could have scores 14 points in 1 minute with no timeouts when all this stuff happened then your crazy. No I don't, but I think the players deserved the chance to try.

Yeah things definitly got heated, but is was definetly a great game right up till things got out of hand. I hate it because WC deserved a chance to make a run at the end and they were robbed of that by all the extra stuff that was going on at the end.

In all honestly somebody holds on every play (in my opinion), but only the ones that pull the jeresy or get their arms extended while holding are the ones that get flagged. So I won't say we didn't just that if we did we didn't make it as blatant. My point however was that the difference in penalties called wasn't as great as some would like to think. Yes the penalties that were called killed drives, but it's not like holding was called on every play.

JB had two penalties called against them that I can recall a pass interference that was borderline and a late hit at the end of the game. Take away all the BS that took place on the last drive and WC had app. 4 holding calls against them and a defensive offsides which is hard to deny when you come across and hit the O line. So baciscally it was two penalties to around 5 not exactly excessive. Someone is going to always have a few more called against them lord knows it's happened to us before. If you want to count the last WC possesion you can add about 4 to 5 more called on WC, but at that point things were out of control and chippy.

Personally I thought you guys had a good game plan. I really thought turnovers and penalties really hurt you guys. Along with a strong dose of #1. Overall I thought it was just a hard fought third round game with both sides putting up one heck of an effort. Also the Rice boys are as advertised both are very talented players. And whatever happened there at the end of the game I've never seen anything like it, and it's a shame something like that had to happen in to ruin the end of such a hard fought contest.

Last years loss wasn't about what Rice did or didn't do JB got beat upfront on both sides of the ball plain and simple. We couldn't consistently run the ball nor could we consistently stop the run if you can't do those two things you will get beat. Now can we control the line of scrimmage this year that remains to be seen, but I definitly feel like we are stronger up front so we shall see Friday.

Maybe but when your name is South Pitt no one is going to over look your team too much tradition to not consider them a threat to win it all.

True but there is always a first time for everything. Really though I don't get too mad at the refs cause you couldn't pay me enough to ref a highschool game.

Bad idea first bad call and I can see a few of the balls entering the field of play in a refs direction.

I believe we will see a high scoring game somewhere between 35-28 or 28-21 with JB coming out on top. Rice will get his, but I believe the Devils D and ball control ground game will do just enough to get the W.

There is a Hampton is Springfield that isn't too bad.

Who didn't he gave almost every team fits. Said part is the offense was predictable he was just that talented of a player.
