All I can say is WOW!! quite possibly the best game I have ever watched. Momentum swings both ways. Then just when you think the Devils are on a game winning drive to go up by three scores the drive stalls. CA gets the ball and goes on a drive of their own gets the momentum with the onside kick recovery and scores again to go up by one. But not so fast my friend with 19 seconds to go JB hits a couple big plays to get the ball to the 6 with .9 sec left in the game. Then JB nails the game winner as time expires. Again WOW sums it up and I'm glad I stayed to the bitter end.

I was referring to the satellite view of the field on Googlemaps it is fuzzy.

I was told the field is on Meador Drive. Judging by google maps it looks like it is near Lafayette Elementary.

I'm in total agreement no change in the X's and O's would have made a difference today. Some times you just run into a better team and that's what happened today. Our boys gave their all and that is all you can ask.

I have read several SP posters make the same statement about "JB running there mouth" and I have to say I don't recall many JB fans predicting a blowout or being disrespectful about the pirates at all. I know a few of the fans from teams JB beat or who saw us play were tooting or horn for us, but for the most part JB fans expected a close game (granted we were wrong). However if you look back through this thread very few if any JB posters predicted a blowout most didn't even offer a score prediction. The blowout predictions came from the SP side (they were proven correct) so what are the basis for these type of statements? Also as for your comments for #34 if you did any reading of previous posts you know what was going on with him and to make the statement you did shows very poor taste.

I want to say congrats to SP on the win. You guys truly dominated the game. I was impressed with the speed you guys talk about, but I have to say you don't give enough respect to your boys upfront. I watched Hale dominate the game and as I watch the main thing that stood out to me was how far down field he was before he even had to worry about anyone even attempting to tackle him. That in my opinion was due to the stellar play of your boys upfront. Then on the defensive side the defensive line to borrow a phrase from Roy kept us from knockin any holes and giving our boys a chance to see any open field. Again hats off to an impressive performance and to our boys congrats on a sucessfull year and use this as a building block and come back even stronger.

I ain't goin lie we do have a solid defense and some talented weapons on the offensive side. That being said you don't get the reputation of being "Speed Pittsburg" by having a bunch of scrub ball players. Hale may be your featured back, but I'm sure there is a lot more talent just itching to make a name for themselves in a championship game. As I said befor I expect nothing short of a classic come Friday.

It's not like you guys don't have a stud back of your on. It should be a great game and the team that limits there mistakes will come out on top.

U say this as if UC didn't make any mistakes last year. All of these things are a part of the game.

If the Devils can pound the rock with some success and hold on to the ball I believe they will pull out a close one. SP will get there yards, but the Devils D should be able to minimize the big plays and get a couple stops that should be enough to put them over the top and bring home that GOLD BALL!

Don't forget the fudge rounds Roy won't be happy without his fudge rounds.

I believe the favorite would have to be who ever wins the gold ball this year. It seems both teams heading to Cookeville this year have a lot of talent returning no reason to believe they won't be in the thick of things next season.

Better add a weighted vest to them ankle weights so we can get a lil extra burst of speed for next week. Want to make sure them devils don't get caught from behind after we knock sum big holes in that line.

Thanks those were good clips. One question did you guys get that fade pattern reviewed in the booth to see if the reciever got his foot down in bounds.

Here's a football question. Is there any game video anywhere on the net for Perry County? I would really enjoy watching a game of theirs but all I can find is last years WC game.
