First off ,if anyone is lying,it's you,you are lying to yourself.Everyone knows how it is at GP.Second ,my little brother and the other kid believe in tradition,they stay at the same school where their family played football.Third, FYI, my little brother graduated a D1 college,where he played football,the same college that myself and our father attended and played for and the other kid had his life cut short while on Christmas break for his college.So I believe,they and I are fairly smart .End of discussion,end of topic.

I'm not arguing over public/private.I'm just stating that these two teams should be playing against teams closer to their calibers.Like 3a or 4a teams,2a teams cannot complete against powerhouse teams like Alcoa and Goodpasture.

doesn't recuit uh,several years ago they tried to "not recuit"my little brother and a very talented,fast running back to leave their home school and come and play at GP. As I said THEY RECUIT.....

I had the privilege of watching both teams play this year. Both teams are 3a ,if not 4a,caliber teams.Everyone knows that GP is a private school,who recuits its players,and some say that they also control the number of student enrollment,so they can always stay in 2a.I really don't know,but that is what is said.Alcoa has a "open zone",bascically no one really knows what can be done about that.Don't have and never will have a answer,because that is up to TSSAA.Everyone knows they are not going to do anything.Basically what I'm saying is these two teams are HUGE fish playing in a little pond.So whoever wins the GOLD ball,be proud,you won it from TRUE 2a teams,your records prove that all year.

to all the fans and players of SC,remember,some of the Westmoreland players said they were coming to the HOLE.So play the little Alcoa Windblowers like you did against W-land,and you won't have any problems.Win it for Region 4.I personnally will be glad to drive to the HOLE and help cheer you guys to VICTORY.GO OWLS

hey SC , congrads on tonights win , it was "according to your announcer on the radio"the hardest game ya'll have played all year.Westmoreland players, congrads to you for the hard work and the way ya'll presented yourselves as Region Champions.To all SC fans ,I saw a young man walk down the field after the game and personnally tell the coach Kelly and some of the seniors, good game.This young man also patted the arm of #57 when he got hurt.Mr. Jacob Bass ,you showed what the game is all about, for that I applaud you. You are a true sportsman.Again congraduation on your win and good luck next week,bring it home to middle tennessee.

I would like to ask a couple of questions? 1st question, Is all of Smith County players healthy, and what about Westmoreland players? 2nd question, Are all of you people on Coach T, "Smith County and Westmoreland " going to stand up after the game and give both teams a standing ovation. :unsure:I was just wondering,because from what I have read in the papers and on here,I think both teams are already CHAMPIONS . Congrads to both teams on your accomplishments this year and good luck to both teams Friday night .God bless all players,so they may stay healthy,and be with Smith County fans on their trip to and from Westmoreland.Now that I have used enough of your time I have one more thing to say.PLAY BALL

It is so hard to please someone with your higher education, I mean,you have"what" 36 years of education.All,13 yrs in the 3rd grade,I mean,WOW, cannot hold a light to that .So I will have to go and study harder so I can be as smart as Smith County's professor

Antwan, yes i can read, i did not go to school in Smith County,where they only teach with pictures,but since this is in good fun. Since a mating call in W-land is" nice toot " , what is the mating call in Smith County "hurry up sis" . Remember ; it is just good fun. I do agree with you on ONE thing, it will be a very good game.I will be glad to drive up and pay $7.00 to see it. As before ; good luck to both teams

ok i have read all the smack on here that each side has had to say. lets try this on for everyone. 1st.w-land has a very good football team this year , with alot of senior leadership / sc has a very fine team / seems to be centered around 2 or 3 good players not saying the rest of the team isn't good but ALL you hear is just 2 or 3 names/numbers.2nd sc supposed to have not played their best game against w-land in wk 8 ,it doesn't matter , that game is over. w-land might have or have not played their best game against sc, again it doesn,t matter,that game is over.3rd, all the STUPID, VERY CHILDISH jokes are ridiculous,that don't prove anything except some people did not graduate from pre-school because they have not been taught to RESPECT YOU FELLOW MAN/WOMAN.4th fans can't score a touchdown, bands can't score a touchdown, only the KIDS on the field of HONOR can score a touchdown. so let the KIDS play a GAME in which they LOVE , i personally want to say good luck in your game friday night and congrads on a very great year both teams have had , hold your heads high , you have represented your communities and football programs VERY VERY well .

correct , it was one for the books , but i know sc and w land playing each other will probably just as exciting.
