Ihavenofriendzz, you have not been disrespectful. I have seen you maintain respect for the DB program. You have your thoughts on the game. Both sides have those who border on the side of obnoxious, but you haven't been one of them as far as I have read. As far as the game, I love the fact that DB is the underdog in this game. Usually they are the favorite. Farragut is a very strong team and deserve the credit they have been given. I am sure DB kids will come with a chip on their shoulder because no one is giving them much of a chance. This team is very hungry because people critisized them when they were down. They have been playing with passion all season. They have had some bad bounces and lost some games. They may not get the bounces Friday night, but I believe Farragut will know that they were in for a fight. It is very possible, and I believe that DB will be travelling back to Knoxville next week to take on the Bearden/WB winner.

If DB brings the whole marching band, then they will be a very loud bunch. The band alone is 380+. Even without the band, they travel very well and will show up in full effect.

It's hard to ever be pleased with a loss, but I am happy with the way the Indians fought tonight. It sounded like they played hard and had the chance to win if things could have bounced thier way. They will only get better when Boggan and Clark get back into the lineup in the next few weeks. Congrats to the Govs. Sounds like you have another fine team.

When was the last time White County won in this series?

Sparta boy, my alma mater has won 3 out of the last 4 state championships in 3A. Last year the only team better than them was the 4A state champ. What else does it take to be on top? As far as Ooltewah, they were strong last year and I expect them to contend for a state championship.

I do believe Riverdale's run is over. Last year east TN won the 2A, 3A, and 4A and when the Red Rebels of Maryille move up to 5A Riverdale will never see another championship. As far as Region 2 5A being weak, I'd take it against any in the state. After all, we know the best football is played in the east.

I'm really suprised that Soloman didn't get the ball more often. He almost took a kickoff back and could take just about any run the distance if given the chance. Granted, he didn't have the best blocking, but a few more carries and he could have busted one or two big plays. I wasn't that impressed with Gilligan's play calling.

After watching the game tonight, South looked very impressive. Mr. Phillips definitely did impress. He made a throw that not many high school QBs could make down the middle over the defender hitting the reciever in stride. The recievers for South came up big. I was really impressed with the way #15 ran the ball hard every time he touched it. Great win!

It's going to be a tough region this year. Each team will be battle tested by the time playoffs roll around.

Mr. Crazy, take a deep breath and let go. Maybe you could find a hobby (i.e. scrapbooking from your playing days) and move on to something else. Your class had a great run and were a part of some great teams. You have that to be proud of, but why don't you let these guys enjoy thier time in the spotlight.

I have heard that the Govs will be very strong this year. I'm not real familiar with the murphyfair polls, but I have to wonder what he was thinking by having Maryville 3rd in the 4A poll. Until someone dethrones them, they are the measuring stick for everyone else in the state of Tennessee.

I believe they will be able to throw the ball successfully, but I agree they will have to run the ball to win late in the season. They will have the guys to carry the ball to run effectively.

Congradulations to Liberty on the W. It seems that maybe there aren't any teams that will beat you. We'd love to repay the favor in a few months when football season comes around. the west may dominate in basketball, but we know where the best football is played- the east.
