Hmm seems to me that some of your earlier posted comments towards me were false derogatory entirely personal comments against aformer player. So unless you are being hypocritical, you can't say you have any VIKING PRIDE left either. I mean the things brought against me were 10x more personal and derogitory, (most of which were ignorant) And you say I have no VP because of the false, derogatory, and personal comments I left, well I guess that means you don't either! But yea thanks for comin back on here and tryin to settle things down by trying to say you misinterpreted my words. I am a Viking, I have Viking Pride, and I love everything about my team and the work I put into it. Thats all that matters and you have nothing to back up your statement as no one else disagrees with my comments except for the make believe people you say lost respect for me and I should move schools. "Attacks on former Vikes is absoulutely no good and does not symblize Viking pride" OldVike said. Well looky right there he is on here attacking former Viking players I guess you jus lost all of your Viking Pride too. Get in touch with me and maybe we can move together as we are both former Vikings with no VP! Now that that is over with I hope you whoever you are will get off my case and get over the fact he thought he was better than we were and well guess what they weren't. We are the best team I have ever played for in my eyes, better than any team that has touched the Castle's grass. Why is that? Because I poored my blood, sweat, tears, and sometimes conciousness into this team along with the friends and teamates I love. Why were we the best team? Because I along with 21 of my other friends and teammates played on it. Because this was my Viking experience and to me... It was the best team! So thanks to all of you 06' Vikings for one heck of a year. THe best team to ever pass through THS (to me!!!) I was really sad the next morning I woke up and realized I had not played. I have NO recolection of anything that went on Friday night. Not warm-ups all the way to the bus ride home. I have seen the hit and all I gotta say is WOW! He is a ball player, kinda led helmet to helmet, but it was still a blow! Good luck to ya!

Guys thanks for comin on here and taking up for me, that is well appreciated! But yea it looks like since I posted one comment that some old guy didn't agree with I am considering the transfer of schools. I just wish that you all will look at me the same after all I was doing was taking up for my own team. Man I'm sorry guys...NOT!!! And if one comment loses respect from you guys after all I have done this year for my team and trying to support my team, then I never had any respect from you guys anyway and to tell you the truth I don't care if you don't respect me. And it sounds like if all you guys have to do is sit on here and find old posts then nominate someone to register an account so they can get on here and bash me??? Get a hobby or a job or something to take up your spare time. And as for my sins??? That was an ignorant statement, I must not have gotten to the part of the Bible yet where the Lord says not to say someone is sad because of the name they use on coachT. As what do I do? Well I am a player I play the game the way I have been coached. I do what I can to make my team the best and Im sorry, but its not money, enthusiasm, or "rooting" that wins football games, it is "players making plays."(As I have been coached) And yea I have made plays this year. Hey man, no I haven't seen it yet, but I am actually looking forward to it. I want to see what happened, because I have no recolection from about kick-off until I got in bed. I had no idea I ever came out or was stumbling or any of that. But thank you for the compliments. I have really enjoyed this year and I will always be a VIKING!!!

Man the one thing I find in this post that is the saddest is just the name. Vikingpride4life... well that statement right there shows you have already lost any sort of pride for the Vikings and worst of all you are living in the past. Lets just hope you will move on and get out of highschool football at some point in your life.

Yea I heard he was pretty good too. I really wouldn't remeber though because he knocked the crap outta me and I really dont remeber anything. But to those 2006 Vikings, thanks for a great year with a lot of good times. I thought we put it together in the end and pulled together more as a team. VIKING PRIDE!!!

Well maybe one day we can start recruiting as it is said to be happening in Maryville. Then maybe we can start closing the doors to students so we can stay in the 4a rankings like you all are said to do. Or maybe we will just be content with our love of the game of football, try our hardest with what we have, and work as hard as we can to get better. And move on after our highschool or college career is over with and not always live back in those "glory days" like you probably will. But lets get ready for the Falcons Friday night!!! Well they won't be be believing when they have to drive back to Volunteer after losing to us. Sorry, but it will be you last game of this season. THS will move on and go to Mo West and hopefully pull an upset there. We would really like to move on to South again. I believe THS is becoming the team they are. The defense hads played stout all year and the O looks to be getting on track. Go VIKES!!! PS The weakness of your offense is the FORTRESS!!!

Well I guess your still not getting the facts here. As I didn't smirk in your sons face, also I did shake his hand. I would know I was there in the line. The only hand I didn't shake were the ones intentionally lowered for me not to or the ones that decided to step out of line before they got to me. Even players said unsprtsmanlike comments across the ball to me or when I was on the ground I never once retaliated. I kept my players up, but did not give into the BS that was going on in some cases. And you may still say I wasn't shaking hands or what not in the huddle, but I actually had a player call me after the game when I was home and apologize for not shaking my hand. It showed alot of courage from him. Now I did shake everyones hand that left it out. I talked to a few teammates that I could, asked about the ones I didn't see. There is nothing more sportsmanlike in my opinion. Sorry for the misleading facts you recieved. Also thank you for the compliments I appreciate them. P.S. What was up with Steven and 28....and 6... and 2... and 7... and 58... and 64...? Now I only see one common factor in all of these incidences I heard about on the sidelines.

Well Mrs. Acton you may want to get your stories straight before you get on here calling people out and saying things that in return are just going to make you look stupid. For one I was at film this weekend and watched every play on which someone was getting pushed, shoved, or punched. Usually North players did start it, at times it was us, but not nearly as much as you are letting on. I mean what got into Steven he threw punches, dirty hits, or talked smack about every play. Cookie, never thought I would ever see him getting 3 personal foul penalties as he is one of the best all around players I know. And standing at that QB position I heard 63 yell racial remarks at my lineman and my recievers. He called people dirty mexicans and I heard him use the "N" word numerous times. Now you can't sit here and say I didn't show respect for my old teammates. I shook everyones hand that would put it out. Usually the North players stepped out of line b4 they got to me or lowered their hand as for me not to shake it. After the game I shook David Joyners hand for a good 10 seconds, asked him about Logan because I didn't see him in the line, then I walked over to Brandon White which was still on the sidelines with crutches and asked him how his leg was. Also I told your boy good game and shook his hand. Now Jara you need to get your facts straight, I don't appreciate your bashing of THS players me in particular. Sorry it was an embarassment for you Fri. night, but Im not sure what you wanted us to do. We don't dress 8th graders and we played Freshman the entire 2nd half. I played 1 play the whole 2nd half. So please next time you want to say something about another team, but don't know your facts please just check into it. VIKING PRIDE!!

Well said Mrs. Acton, but didn't Thomas play ball with your kid and all the other seniors all the way since they were like 8??? I guess since misfortunate events led to the moving from Kingsport to Bristol and transferring schools that now you and many others have lost all respect for Thomas. And as for Wampler, just because he left North doesn't mean he hates them or anything. I mean who knows the reasoning behind his choices, but he is a man with a family and if a better oppurtunity showed itself than anyone would jump on it. Should be a good game between the Raiders and the Vikings. Both have a good line, but with different techniques of how to get the job done. North: big and strong, but slow. THS: Smaller, but much quicker and just as strong. Both have about the same in the backfield, North: One big strong back, and a few smaller more agile backs. THS: Strickland plows over people, Howard and Baker out run and juke them. At the QB position THomas and Acton are almost identical. Neither one throws alot, but runs well. Both 23 completions in 59 tries. Acton slightly above Thomas on passing yards, but Thomas way above on rushing yards. The defense is where the Viking will win this one. The FORTRESS is awesome. Good D-backs, good linebackers, and a great front 4!!! They will totally shut down North. THS takes this one! Look for an emotional game from Thomas as playing his old team and look for North trying to kill him!

Hold up...the Defense played well tonight as they do most every Friday. But don't be giving that win to the defense. The offense had to come in on a nasty playing surface, get used to the mud, and get what was needed done. Which they did. The O-Line looked to finally be stepping up. Cory Strickland ran real hard as did Howard. Also give props to Thomas, I saw him run through, over, and around people out there. Even though the passing game was absent to say the least, they still went out there and got the job done. Not sure how well you could throw in that mess anyway. I know JC qb didn't. Threw 4 picks...Should have been 6. Go Vikes!!!

Keep up the good work back there in that secondary battle. Lead that D, it needs someone to step up! Now lets go out their and woop some J.Co. butt tomorrow and hopefully gain some respect back! Go Vikes!!!!

Well it is a big game this week for the Vikes. They have started back on their track to the play-offs. Still not the team they "were" Maybe a reason for their performance on the field the past couple of weeks is from the amount of support they have lost after the DB and South games. Before you could see Viking fans showing tons of support and love for these kids, ever since the DB game there has been mostly doubt. Now I am even seeing Viking fans choose the other teams to win. I don't care how good the other team is, if the Vikes are your team you need to support them and show them love no matter what happens. I mean there is nothing like seeing and hearing people talk their doubts and leave people criticisms one after another. Would't make me want to play for a bunch of doubters that don't expect you to win anyways. Vikings love your team, it is a game, unusual things do happen. Let them go and get back to the team you were before the losses!!!

Well this is past news Cap1, but Justin Joslin (Science Hill), last year, the night "someone" was hurt, runs a 4.38. Now I do know this for a fact and I can back it up if you would like. Other than that Im just going by what times coaches give as these kids speed. Now about everyone knows an athlete in the highschool level is and inch shorter and a couple tenths slower on their 40 time, so yea a 4.4 is bookin it. But I wouldl ove to see the Vikings play to their potential as well, heck I would love to see them play the way they did the first 4 games. After DB and South we took about 5 steps backwards and have only taken about 2 back to where we were. We have a good team, I just believe we have some athletes that need to grow some confidence in themselves and one another to become more as a team. Both sides of the ball. Hopefully tomorrow night will bring out the ole' Vikings and we will take those 3 more steps forward!!!

Well I guess our opinions are differing Cap1, but only about the difference in teams and their speed. Yes 4.6 4.7 is sufficient against teams with 4.6 4.7 WR's, but when 88 from ETown is down in the 4.4's and Sensabaugh from DB is also in the 4.4's then there isn't a chance. Henry Engrad??? from South quick 4.5. These are the major burners of the secondary. But dont get me wrong when we play slower reciever teams our secondary is second to none. And if it were just straight streak down the fields then a 10 yd cushion and a 4.5 against a 4.7 would be more than sufficient for our corners, but these are good receivers and when they make their moves the corners usually bite. I believe we are strong in the secondary, but need to be smarter and will hopefully be getting better by play-offs. I think the entire team is down after the two losses and it needs to become stronger as one. Lets go VIKES Play as 1

Well Baker is running about a 4.66 Moore is running around 4.7 Franzeck is the fastest on the defense at a 4.63 or so but in the middle linebacker position. Thats about all the speed they have on D and I wouldn't rate them up there as true "speed." They aren't sparing any on offense either Thomas is at a 4.67 and used to be a d-back, but guess they won't put their QB out there. Howard was running down around a 4.5 last season but slowed down some this year, and Strickland is a big boy running behind a 4.7-4.8... This is about the least speed THS has seen in a long time and alot of other teams do have the speed to burn them.

Yea I am a THS guy all the way and I am even tired of hearing about we are better than South. South straight up beat us in our Castle. As of now they are the better team. They were the better team 2 Firdays ago and now they are the better team in the conference. Its become a sort of plague now around THS football. We have played way below our level of competition 2 weeks straight. We need to wake up, move on from the Sout hloss and try to get back into our Viking way of playing ball. Forget about who the better team is, swallow the fact they will be MLC champs and start working on recalobrating the team for play-offs. My personal opinion, but THS wouldn't make it past the first round the way we are playing now. And if you want to prove you are the best MLC team then you are probably going to have to make it 3rd round. The "D" is playing back to its potential as there wasn't much of a passing threat, but the offensive side of the ball was off all night. And there is NO passing threat for THS. We need to get something going with that. Vikes are hopefully on their way back up, we need another win this Friday before going to Johnson County! THS 35 Central 7

Cap1 I thought your boy went to King this year??? Don't they have any forums for you to talk in? If not, how about you start supporting the Vikings as having your son play there for the past couple years or just not say anything!
