  1. GERARD ARNOLD From Lexington went to memphis and set all kinds of records that were just recently broken by Deangelo williams. He went on to play for the bengals.
  2. i talked to him about it he says its not fun anymore and he needed to concentrate on schoolwork. No idea how hes gonna do that transferring to Knoxville.
  3. when only 2 go and your in the running with liberty and bolivar, you dont go. If were in adiff district it may be another story. Steve only went that far because he had a once in a generation team. Gardner gets 20 year in and year out. Consistancy is one attribute of a good coach.
  4. Last year Riverside came up to lexington with blue spraypaint and wrote RHS all over the concrete in front of the school. This year they were more tacktful and only used tp and streamers. Some of our guys went down there this year with spray paint and were caught by some players, luckily a few of them knew each other and there was no physical altercation. This situation could have gone really bad in a hurry. You get 5 guys from lex caught by 5 or sixguys from Riverside and dont have a throw down its a miracle these shools hate each other. Some thing needs to be done before people get hurt.
  5. Gardner has been here 5 or 6 years now and won less than 20 games only the first season. there is no comparing LINDSEY to GARDNER. OH yea do you know what steve's overall record in Lexington is?
  6. Do this for me. Lose 5 ALL-STATERS, 12 ALL-REGIONS, a MR. FOOTBALL finalist, only return 3 starters and still be 2nd in the region and have a playoff birth. not many could have, but some how Lexington did. So my hat is off to you . From the seniors trying to come out from under last years shadow , to the sophomores that have agreat shot at 10-0 again. way to go TIGERS.... Good Luck next season
  7. Youre right about lexington. More than enough talent to be a statewide power year end and year out roam the halls of that school. of 500 guys in that school you only have about 30 of em playin ball, somethings not right here. Politics in lexington keep things the way they are and until some school board changes occur ( in the process) lex will fall way short of what they should be. Steve is a good guy but a horrible coach. He can only find a handful of players to stick with it and take his crap. If lex ever gets the numbers up get used to seeing red in the borro.
  8. O.K. youre all nuts if you think Lex has an advantage in the coaching dept. Steve couldnt coach his way out of a paper bag. He had no choice but to win last year with the team he had, if he would have called 30 wedge every play they still had a good shot at being undefeated. The year before he had ty evans(Miss St.), cedric fields(1000 yd rusher), and some really good linemen, not to mention quadrus buckley(Jackson sun defensive player of the year). He has had talent thrown into his lap, he might as well just let them call the plays they know more about what theyre doin than he does. Check out the 6 seasons prior when lexington was a consistant 5-5, or 4-6 type team, who was coaching then???? O i remember, Steve Lindsey.Ive been in the huddle, seen him in practice, there isnt one person on the team that has anything good to say about his coaching ability.
  9. I play for Lexington, Kill em RedHawks.
  10. Lexington-24 Hardin-21 I give to Christos again.
  11. Already played boliver, wont see film on Mcnairy till Monday. How will this affect 4th seed if Mcnairy wins??
  12. Somebody had to win, i didnt see it happening like that but oh well. this gives some of the other teams in the region hope that maybe FW isnt exactly the powerhouse everyone is giving them credit for. SS on the other hand, well i wish they played like this last year it would have been fun deciding the region between 2 unbeatens in wk 10.
  13. This matchup last year had to be one of the best games ive ever wittnessed in high school football. Both teams were loaded with talent. Four quarters and three overtimes later Lexington came out on top with a kick from "the GREEK". Hope its another great game in this newly refreshed old rivalry.
  14. You were actually yelling at the trenton kids to take a knee??? WOW!!!! Had i been there i probably would have done some jumping jacks or something, but the last thing i would have done if you were yelling is take a knee.
