OK... Baker used the N-Word and shouldnt have... but if you look up a few post then u will see a definition that describes the meaning for the word in this generation... .. That definition straight up explains every intention and meaning behind the word BAKER used... This word has multiple meanings... I understand where the African Americans are coming from when they say they are frustrated and i would be too... But this gives no one any right to slander anyting about Baker and make him look bad on the NEWS!!!!! Anyone who does this has guts but deffinently doesnt have a heart... Ive known the man better than anyone who is posting on this thread and i will tell you straight up that Baker is the furthest thing from a racist in the city of Ooltewah. If anything, he does more for the African American kids on his team than he does for the White kids. This comment should end this thread and it should be done with.... He shouldnt have used the word but i will be the first to let you know that he is not a racist nor did he single ne player out on either team and describe them using the N-WORD. He strictly described their actions with the word and once again that definition will explain what the word means.... ENOUGH SAID!!!!!!

So what are some opinions on this game and who comes away with the victory?

I got to the game at halftime and temple had somewhere around 55 and grace about 15. I really noticed in the second half that the way Temple wins their games is by the pace they play and basically is skogen is hittin or not. Skogen was on and the others helped out with tons of runouts. Grace is just not on the same level of play as Temple yet and i dont know if they will be by tournament time. Temple played well and Mcmasters ( the only hope for Grace ) didnt.

Ok this goes out to all Ooltewah and Symrna fans that attended the game. There were many key events or so called game changing performances in this game. Ooltewah got out played last night and nothing can be done about it. But dont get me wrong. Ooltewah is deffinently the better team and i would put my money on them in another meeting but thats high school football for you. Everyone can say it was the reffs and all that but personally i just think the owls killed themselves. Being the better team there is no way that Smyrna should've played with them. I am not taking ne thing away from them because Smyrna got it done, but to the owls have a better team but didnt play to their potential. Some of the calls made were big calls and had to be made and its ur personal opinion in which way they should go. Personally i think the ball had crossed the goaline before #14 had fumbled the ball ( I was standing right there ) but this isnt college or the NFL so there wont be any challenges on this call. But my point is people need to quit crying about this great football game. My hats off to both team to a well played game. Win or Lose life goes on. But the thing is, everyone on this site will not affect the outcome of ne thing that involves high school sports. Good Job both teams and good luck to all.

Pretty sure Bradbury from OHS is a contender for the title at 103 or 112. Hes a hard working, talented wrestler and it should pay off during the season.

yea im gonna have to agree with volman on this one.... Brian is a very good athlete and can striaght up fly... red bank also has a good junior class of athletes but id say some of them are better basketball players
