Posters, This is Coach Hicks at Red Bank High School. We had strong storms come into the area as school was letting out yesterday and had damage to our baseball facilities. As of right now our 3rd base dugout is no longer. The storm tore the dugout completely away and pushed some fences down as well. I was looking for some help with getting the field ready for the opening game in 2 weeks. I am asking if anyone may have any contacts to help with supplies to get the dugout fixed. We would be able to build the dugout ourselves, but supplies are going to be the expenses. If you are able to help would you please contact me at rblionsbaseball@hotmail.com. Soddy Daisy and Red Bank in the championship game @ 7 @ Chattanooga Central. Soddy Daisy and Red Bank both brushed off a friday night loss to win two in a row to be in the championship game. Red Bank came from a 13-3 score after 4 to win 17-16, scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Soddy Daisy beat Central 5-4 on Monday night to earn a spot in the championship game. Winner takes all, one game for the title. Winner plays at home in region, loser travels.

Man, you got us. Seriously? Just because fans come on here and say they think they can win does not mean we have it in the bag. I do not see Maryville fans going against their own team.

I agree, with Benford on the sideline the Red Devils were driving. When Duff took that one back, I think it was over then. Halls looked just beat down afterwards. Benford getting hurt is a sad story. The kid has dominated all year long and would have loved to see him next week, but I think Red Bank can rally around that and show up to play.

Red Bank dominated this game from start to finish. The game started off well with two touchdowns for Tim Benford, but later in the first half Benford got injured and from what I hear, its for the rest of the season (broken arm). The Lions defense was on a mission tonight. Sanchez was in the back field all night long. The only score for Halls was with two minutes left in the game. Once again Rebels and Lions to play which may be the best two teams in the state.

You do not have to graduate from a JUCO to go to a 4 year school afterwards. My JUCO team had a handful of kids that went on to 4 year schools after JUCO and I was the only one to graduate from that JUCO in the 2 years that we attended there.

I dont think the difference is so dramatic that a 500 hitter would only hit 250. I can see why so many people do not like metal bats. I always enjoyed playing with wooden bats, it made me a better hitter. The only problem would be that pitchers would then have such a dramatic advantage because alot of kids in high school will not even hit with wood at all. You would have to do something to equal it out. I am sure that someone has complained about the baseballs that when hit fly like golf balls. I mean Diamond D1's will go along way. I just think there is really not that much depth in pitching like their used to be.

I never jumped on you. I made the comment that many wanted to bring up scores of other games, but not the brainerd game. Just a simple statement. Dont think I jumped on you at all. I guess when Maryville gets down they get upset and open up a can. I never said anyone did not have class. I said you deserve to talk crap by beating us that bad. I have no idea why I have to keep that going. Many Red Bank fans on here have blinders on as well and never actually believed they would lose.

I completly agree with that. I made the comment, here come the comments, because I expected them.

I manned up and admitted they whipped us. You deserve to make comments about people predictions, but make sure you realize some of these fans have on blinders. I thought it would a lot closer, but it wasnt. If you want to say I talked smack thats fine I just made a prediciton. I am not blaming refs or crying about anything like alot of fans that Maryville has beaten.

Here come the comments. They killed us that is all that needs to be said. Many people hoped they would fall, but it did not happen.

Well I guess the guy who said he saw the 61-0 Brainerd game, you must not have been there cause it was 77-8.

I will give it to Maryville they stopped an offense that was not closed to be stopped all season. They mad Red Bank man up and they did not answer. I think the defense did as much as they could, the offense just did not get going. Maryville came to play and showed why they are so good. I am proud of Red Bank and their season and I hope to see you next year Maryville for another game. From what I see the Morristown fans seem alittle cocky, so would not mind if yall beat them and won state. Want be as bad when you say your season was ended by the state champs. I am guessing that some fans will come on here and rag Red Bank, but they got here and that is alot more then alot of teams in the state. Red Bank needs to go in the off season remembering this loss and come back next year fired up. I expect them to be good again next year and I am going to go out on a limb and say Maryville will be too. I did not think the Lions offense would be slowed down this much, but I give it to Maryville.

Red Bank cannot do anything on offense and if Maryville scores here I believe it is over.

Red Bank needs to score coming out of half or this game may get out of hand.

This is not the Gerald Riggs and Red Bank Lions of 2001. Trust me Riggs was an amazing RB in high school, but his senior year it was HIM. When Red Bank won state in 2000 he had alot more talent around him that helped him out. It is not hard to stop a offense when all they have is a RB. Nothing against Red Banks players, but they knew who was getting the ball. Red Bank has plenty of options, 3 very quality recievers and two backs that work well together. The more I think about this game the more I think the defenses will play a huge role in the outcome of this game. Turnovers will be a key. If Jake Ledbetter can protect the ball and give his recievers the ball quick it will help out. You never know who will have a big game for Red Bank. I guess no matter how I explain my pick I am going to be looked at as homerish, but I am making my pick from what I hear about Maryville since I have not seen them play, I am sure many from Maryville have not seen Red Bank. I was close on the game last week I went with 27-14. I guess I am wanting Red Bank to pull this one out. The seniors have not worked for 4 years to get this team to where it is to lay down for this game. Sorry that I hurt your feelings and assumed someone was a Maryville fan. I apologize to all the Rebel Nation for my mistake. Someone wanted to throw numbers around so I threw one in there. By the way who cares who beat who by how much. Does it makes sense that Boise State beat Oregon State which beat USC, which means that Boise State would beat USC. Numbers are numbers and last time I checked it was only Maryville vs. Red Bank. Got a question for Red Bank fans, how come we cannot find someone or some money to do broadcasts of the game? I am sure if someone was needed there could be someone found. Just helps out for those who cannot be at games. I know that you could use internet for the broadcast.

I love how the Maryville fans do not want to bring up the Brainard game, but yet they want to bring up other scores? Makes no sense at all.

Tell ya the reason Riggs was turned down was he probably could not pass test to get in.
