CYJacket, I was just curious where you would rank Brandon in the long line of great backs at Coalfield. I would probally put him right behind the Shelton kid from a couple years back. I think Shelton still holds alot of the school records for rushing. What do you think?

Coalfield will be here for a long time. We are loosing alot of senoirs this year, but we always seem to recruit , i mean put together a good team (that was for you pujo). I for one would be looking forward to a rematch next year. Who is Hampton loosing of of there team this year and what are they looking like next year?

Actually I was not able to attend the game for varies reasons. I had to listen on the radio. I know that on the radio the whole place sounded loud. I know we have had several big turnouts from visiting teams before. I know back in the day (before the 0-10 years) Wartburg really brought the town with them, but they did not have to travel as far as you guys did. I will see if I can ask around and see if there was an exact count and see if that might have been the most ever.

Congratulations to Hampton and all of there fans. What a great game you guys played. That is how you go into another teams house and make them feel like visitors. You guys have a great team and a great fan base, I hope you get the golden ball. Keep doing what you do, work hard and play as a team and you will succeed in what ever you do.

I did not know that Gut Wrench Gary was into basketball, because that is all they will be practicing at Hampton next week. Maybe that is just a cover up to go spend the night with Pujo

Win or lose I think that most of the Coalfield people will be celebrating a great game at the local Shoneys breakfast bar

I dont think that nextel gets any service here. I think that cingular is about the only thing that picks up here.

i have been wondering who CY Jacket is also. I think i know but not certain.

If Coalfield wins tonight will the next game be on the road or will it be at home? And what about Hampton if they win where will there next game be?

Dang we have been called liar, cheaters and about everything else, but this is the first time in a long time that I can remeber being called rude.

Now that sounds like a man with some sense. Not some one claiming that the father of a child spend several hundreds of dollar, and put his family thru a rough time just because his kid did not get to start one game.

Yeah from his one post you can really tell he has the inside track on the situation. I will believe CYJ before i believe anything else. Nothing goes on in Coalfield without him knowing about the situation and getting his approval.

Pujo, you go ahead and call who ever you want to, if that is what it is going to take so that everyone does not have to hear you crying all day. I ask everyone to keep in mind that we are talking about a young man here. And it sounds like he and his family has had a rough year. For those of you lucky enough not to have lived through something like this, it is really rough on a kid. Put yourself in his shoes, with the problems he is having, having to switch schools, family problems, etc. And Pujo has the nerve to talk about poetic justice?

Point taken, we have not beaten a great team yet. But you have to understand that teams like Oliver Springs (1-9) played there best game of the year against us, so did 11 other teams. So now tell me hampton has beaten

So you are telling me that on the first drive, the only drive that Goins was in, he rushed for a 34 yard play. And that if he had played the whole game that he would not have done it again, and that it would not be a closer game? If you want to take about shut down look at how he did against Coalfield for 4 quarters.

Something you may not understand, because you are new to this winning thing, but when you win as much as Coalfield wins, you make alot of rivalrys. Alot of team circle the Coalfield game on there calendar at the start of the season. And it would make alot of teams season if they were to beat Coalfield, so everyone give us there best shot. Life is hard with a big bullseye on you ever game. So in my opion every game was big for us. So we have 12. What about Hampton?

Refresh my memory, or maybe i just have bad sources, but from what i heard was that Goins got hurt after a 30+ yard run early in the game. That dont sound shut down to me.

Come on buddy your better than that. Goins is an amazing player. No he may not have scored 43 points, but I bet Harriman would have had more first downs, more time of possession and more points. And with less time of possession because Harriman would have the ball more, do you really think that Hampton would have scored 42 points?

Come on ar eyou kidding me? Cosby put 21 on Hampton, and Hampton only won by 7 points. How did Cosby fair against Midway, a team that Coalfield has beaten twice now? I think the loss by 22. And if you really think that Harriman would not have scored more against Hzmpton if they had not loss there quearterback early than you are crazy. We played him for 4 quarters and shut him out. If my memory is right i think he got hurt after a 30+ yard run against Hampton.
