PF for sure wants to win Fri. night ,if claiborne does'nt bring thier game PF will win. But the Year GP was down and won just 4 games they had to play a very strong Alcoa who won state by 4 tds and the score was 91 -6. nobody wants to end thier season like that. Benny Hammonds would never do that to another team, He has too much class. This year he could have scored a 100 plus many times.I'm sure the cathloic coach would call them off, I think?

That was quite a game, people would certainly want too see these two again, its worth the 6 bucks any day.hope the CG QB is alright he is a good player. When you pass as much as CG it makes for a long game, but they both played hard all night. GP has a heck of a team, over come as least a 100 plus in pentlies that QB drew them off sides all night. GP has never give up attitude they fight like a bulldog where'd they get that ,Great Game Coach Hammonds.

hope CG QB is OK, he is a good player. it seemed like went GP scratched out a 11 point lead they smelled blood and found another gear, When you play a team that passes as much as CG does it makes for a long game both teams played hard all night, both looked playoff ready.

Practice is over for both teams, GP had 5 turnovers in its loss and Cumberland Gap has played solid . It should be a great start to the playoffs. Winner gets Rockwood and loser loudon I think.I would love to see both these teams advance past 1st round, the conference needs them too win.GP 31 CG 24

Hats off to rutledge best tackling team I've seen in a while, it was a good game and no one sat down last 4 mins.. go GP

Rutledge runs a 6-1 on defense some, 3 tackles on strong side. Will bulldog air it out or try to pound it on that line they have. it seems to me that a 6-1 although has it s strong parts , would be easy to score on.

I believe rutledge's secondary has to play good, from what I've heard rutledge has got some horses on the line this will be a good game, Bo Dyer is a very smart runner, made one of the best plays i've ever seen on a sure sack on ogle, took a pitch he was'nt expecting cut back to other side of field still behind line, for a no doubt loss of 10, saw a reciever down field and threw a TD pass to hagan sims it was beautiful. But a late flag, called it back block in the back, no one saw it but the referee. GP is playing with alot of maturity. But this will tell us alot about our seniors.

Michael Houser texted some player's and said he might be out for the season, a bad concussion he is still in pain. I don't know alot about concussions but the doctor is worried about another hit and it could be worse. Some one will have to step up, he will be missed and maybe he can still return never know.

You could hear a pin drop during that time out, PF showed a lot of class during that time out, they played us tough. the pre game warm ups both teams doing same drills at same time was cool, never heard fans cheer like that pregame. Neil Estes and lee hammonds are very good freinds. neil definitely has the most experience, both of them are looking forward to this game. GP s defensive cordinator vs GP s offensive cordinator . Wheather it is ever mentioned or not there thinking about it. it should be fun

To early to say on pittser, it will take alot to keep him out of this one. the stands will be packed on both sides which should have both teams pumped up, GP is very explosive when motivated and this week is just what they need. Trash talk has already started, it should be alot of fun a least for a half. GP big 55-14.

Gatlingburg has 3 injuries kyle cole broke finger, kyle horner broken collar bone out 6 to 8 weeks.nathan codgill cracked ribs. Sequoyah speed caught gp of guard last week, 14-0 early 1st quarter,hard running backs for there size. GP made some changes defensively and shut it down, with 42 unanswered. QB was 9 for 12 165yds, running game was solid over 300. They will not over look Chucky Doak, or any team. Bulldog will make sure of that. They love the game and love to win.

I have watched Gatlinburg-Pittman football for years. I'm very proud of them. Even if South- Greene brings thier A game, I don't think it will be enough. This year Gatlinburg-Pittman is playing with Pride, Heart and ATTITUDE with A capitol A, and will not be satisfied with anything less than first place in the Watauga conference. Benny Hammonds and Staff have the same attitude.
