Pigeon Forge travels to Gatlinburg-Pittman this friday in a big district rivalry game. PF coach is a former GP freshman/jv coach and once again it seems to add a little more interest in the rivalry. I have a filling G-P wins it at home. What do yall think?

GP is making a good run hopefully they pull off a great upset. But Goodluck to both, and remeber Matthew Pittser in your prayers. Been in the hospital all week and the Junior i think is still leading east tenn In scoring, so he goes under surgery for the 3rd time tommorow (saturday) to clean some more of that staph infection so goodluck to him. Wow to keep any rumors from getting started or listening to anymore Cumberland Gap fans that think he should be or is playing. He will not be. It's very serious staph infection, had surgery today i just left the hospital earlier, he has to have another minor surgery friday. For those who dont know Pittser is the leading scorer in east tennessee and a great football player. GP younger players HAVE to step up and will step up. They also lost there team leader in tackles to a bad shoulder injury in a car accident. Rough times for Gatlinburg Pittman remeber those guys in your prayers and i would love to see them come out and play with a lot of heart friday. GO HIGHLANDERS!

GP rolled over Rockwood they are getting better ever week, idk about Cumberland Gap getting better or not but i think GP will roll in this one close at first. GP 28-17

Amen exactly wat happened i just wasnt gonna say or start anything else. GP vs. Cumberland Gap #2 we'll see who makes changes and i would love to know if CAK has a good shot at winnin friday?

wow last year after the Sweetwater game, GP fans ( my classmates and i love em) wasnt anywhere to be found so for the Rockwood fans i tip my hat for fessing up. GP is a good football team, that needs to take it one game at a time hopefully my boys dont look ahead to alcoa or cak AND goodluck vs the gap!

I think Rockwood has a good team that will match well against GP. Both teams are pretty well balanced offensively should be a great game. In the end Gatlinburg has too many weapons. GP by 9

BIG GAME conference championship and perfect season on the line for cumberland. Hows this one going to play out?

HAHAHA! first of all PF lost. Good Job. Second I was at the game and saw everything. Despite being a GP fan, Stats show 286yrd rushing (GP of course) and 140 passing GP again doesnt compare to to 30yrds rushing and 90 passing. PF tight end had a few big plays, thats all PF had going for them. So goodluck coach lee i think he knew who was more physical also. Oh and one more thing check your stats before you talk #82.

Gatlinburg-Pittman voted one of the best in the state by the dailynewspaper. in the mountains beautiful field, GREAT atmosphere. If you dont believe me show sept. 14th vs. pigeon forge. Hammonds keeps it lookin great.

Heard and saw some things on sequoyah this week, they definately have a much better coaching staff i can tell that by how hard they play and how they play with confidence. so im not gonna be fast too say GP blows them out, sweetwater returned a lot this year and got man-handled that second half. GP better come to play and if they do they will take care of business. This is the week we find out how Taylor Ogle is going to do at qb. If sequoyah stops Dyer and Pittser.

Saw Cherokee Scrimmage in the Spring they do run the wing T, they are VERY physical, If none of them quit they have about 3 BIG backs that make it very difficult to stop there offense. However Cherokee might be one of the best wing T offenses ive faced, CAK could have success putting the ball in the air. In all i think its close game but Cherokee just too physical. Cherokee by 8

Gatlinburg-Pittman played a slack first game blowing Tellico Plains out 55-13, I havent heard anythin but the score on the Sequoyah vs Sweetwater game but i believe it was closer then what most thought it would be. GP or Sequoyah who wins!?

Gatlinburg Pittman. Domnated a weak schedule last year. 1st round of playoffs was pentalized 155yds. and 5 T.Os which left them in a no win situation against a good sweetwater team. They return 3LB 5OL, 1WR, TE, and 2 athletic RB's. They gotta make up for inexperience but if they do this team could be one too watch out for.

agreed 100% Alcoa is STILL the team to beat but with how much they lost, its not fair to say sweetwater, loudon, gatlinburg pittman, or rockwood couldnt come through to beat em. dont count any of those teams out just yet.
