This prayer circle thing is a result of a Rumor from a York game that WHS was not involved in. If York is not guilty of this then forgive Mr. Postman. The hitting in the back was from 2006 when Westmoreland was running thru their plays before the York Vs WHS game. The York players ran on the field and was shoving each other into the Westmoreland players. I saw it myself. That is not Sportmanship at all. Late hitting was going on alot in the first half of that game and the Refs called several Personal Fowl Penalties in the second half against York. This is 2008, Please all players from both sides play with good sportmanship. Lets make this a great atmosphere.

I hope WHS can keep it that close. I mean comparing the Cannon County vs York and WHS vs Cannon scores, I mean, this game could get ugly. Then York scored more points on SC than Trousdale did. It looks kind of grim for the Eagles.

Hello fellow friends and fans, This game is what High School Football is all about. Two fine communities coming together laying it on the line until the end. Both teams are undefeated and neither want a defeat. Mothers, Dads, Grandmothers and Grandfathers, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, friends and fellow christians will all be there supporting their respected teams. Yea we like an easy game every once in a while just like SC that left the Private School 2A district to play the Cannons, Jackson and Upperman schedule in that rough 3A division a few years back.

The order may not be right with the exception of Alcoa, but I belive the teams listed are top ten teams.
