Congrats Allison Clark for the job! From one Eaglette to another, you can do the job! It takes a SPECIAL person to take over the Shelbyville Eaglette Basketball Program. Allison, like many other past Eaglettes, have always dreamed of coming back to help the program that got her to where she is now. It is very true that many of the players did not want Tom Insell to get the job because of how they have seen him treat other players in Nike Flight ball in the summer. Tom does not know how to coach average girls. Anyone can win games when you go out and get the best players in the country. I played for Tom in AAU since i was 10 and i loved playing when we knew we had a coach at our games to coach us. Last summer, we (my team) never had a coach until probably midway thru our games. Coach Dee Bell would run over and catch us playing and coach us. You have to be committed to this program to do the job! Allison has lived and went thru it, won some State Championships along the way. The only reason the Flight program is where it is today is because of Matt Insell! He turned that program into what it is!!! Tom just got it because Matt went to Kentucky, where he is doing a great job!! Now, SCHS & the Shelbyville community is VERY HAPPY with the selection of the coach. & I know for a fact that the girls on the team are now very excited about the upcoming year. & i can promise you this, there are no transfers coming in. all of these girls are natives & from Shelbyville. Good Luck my Eaglettes! Prove them alllllll wrong! Good luck Ally! I can't wait to come back and watch your team play and win!

Okay. I was there from 5:00 P.M. until 10:30 P.M. that night. For starters, the refs did let things get out of hand. They dictate the outcome and the actions of the fans. BUT there was no reason for LC fans to rush the floor, no they did not just stand in the little corner that you like to think they did. They ran alllllll the way over to the bench of the visitor side. Have respect, you just don't do that. Period! Now if this was a neutral site and this game meant something in the district standings, i would understand. But it didn't. As for Coach Thomas of SCHS not shaking the players hands, that's normal. Coaches shake hands. I sat there and watched with my two eyes see him shake the other coaches hand. LCHS Student section shouldn't have been standing in the way of the SCHS Eagles entrance to THEIR locker room. Have some respect to let the HOME team get into THEIR locker room. Also, I know Coach Thomas on a personal level, this man would NEVER touch or "PUSH" (as you like to say he did) a young woman in the way you are saying he did. Once again, if they(LCHS STUDENTS&CHEERLEADERS) were not in the way of SCHS locker room, this would have never occurred. Also, LCHS Students need to have more class. Don't call someone an inappropriate word just because you do not like him because the kids got talent. & THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! A young man from the LCHS student section called Andrews something that should not have been said and Andrews turned and the guy was walking towards him and E then walked towards him and they went at it. No E did NOT get knocked out, you'd have to have a lot more people on your side to take him down. The SCHS admin. always makes sure that their student section NEVER rushes the floor or post inappropriate sayings on their white board. Truth is our Assistant Principle sits RIGHT be the student section. The last saying that LCHS posted on their board was "PLUCK THE EAGLES", now you tell me this, is this really necessary? I think not! I give props to the SCHS student section for not joining the childish fight. The LCHS student section can get VERY RUDE and be VERY out of line! I know this from first hand, maybe you guys should tell your cheerleaders that getting as close to the opposing teams player throwing the ball in and yelling in their ear isn't the most sportsman like thing! I promise you this is true, b/c i did once tell the ref about it one game and he turned around and the young lady was right in my ear! For you to say that our #50 is the most unsportsmanlike player and a dirty player, you are wrong. BECAUSE WE DO NOT HAVE A #50. shows how much you know! All i know is there better be a whole lot of state troopers at the girls & boys game when the Eaglettes and Eagles get around the Lady WildCats and WildCats again. These two student sections will never let this one go!

I'm sorry, but i disagree with what you are saying about tradition.. South Greene has the same fight as Shelbyville. I highly encourage you to attend a game AT SG! That could possibly be the most intense but at the same time thrilling basketball games you could ever watch. That community has so much respect for those girls & supports them like they were all their own kids.. As for Dye & Butler, I've seen them both play & i would much rather have my point guard control my team and make the passes that can get their team mates open shots. So i would say Dye is the better PG! Butler is good, but more like a wing.. If Dye chooses Belmont, good school! Butler..good luck at Martin.

You guys love to pick on team who are not doing as well as every one else. It makes me sick to read you guys saying that this team must be doing it because they can't beat them on the score board. You are sad. This program has only been going for very few years, so just like any other new program it needs time to grow. It's football. Most kids start playing football to get them out of trouble in school and in the streets and to take out anger. I think i remember this right, but isn't this your first win Richland? Yeah, thought so. You have no right to talk about Community just trying to beat people up because they cannot beat them on the board. As for the coaches not handling this, your wrong again. I know the coaching staff VERY well, and it kills them to see the kids blow up like this. But you know some young guys get frustrated when they try everything and nothing seems to be working for them. I have sat at MANY MANY football games and have seen cheap shots for days. The only reason you guys are bringing this stuff up is because this team gets caught.. props to you guys for doing it the sneaky & slimy way. Also, I've been at the community football field waiting for them to get done running because of there play and actions in a game.. I promise you that the coaches are doing everything they can to not only help these boys but to also make them better people. For the Admin. well they are strict, sometimes a little toooooo strict, but you can't control that. I know of 2 boys that did not play in the game this past Friday because of the fight the week before. So they do take control of their players. But all i have left to say for right now is that this is probably the only coaching staff that this team will get that actually cares about them as players & people.

Cascade's #5 Cory Phillips. That boy can run the ball and make tackles like crazy. Cory is doin a great job this season. Keep up the good work boy.

Could not say it better. Both these teams have been beatin teams left and right, now it's time for them to go head to head in The Stable. I will say you better get there as early as you can Friday night cause the games i have been to this year, which i have only missed two, have been packed. And i will be thinkin ppl will be parkin across the street for this game. Two GREAT teams goin head to head....Go Champs!!!!!! :justwrestle:

Yea your right...Cascade has no class.....Oh yea. They try to get teams to pray after the game and they do have class. And you guys sayin that this will be a blow out..Well cascade has great D this year. and can run the ball very well and have great passin with Carkuff at the gun. Come watch the game and you will see. Incase you didn't see it when they played you. i agree!

Can I say Chapel Hill needs to get over the lost to Cascade and take the lost?! Yea I think that's what needs to happen. But my question is, where can i listen to the game on the radio? I can't make the game. Go Champs! 7-0!
