  1. MT. JULIET ??”The last two years, the winner of Mt. Juliet Christian versus Red Boiling Springs has come down to the last play. The Saints came out on top both times, but not in convincing fashion. This year, there was no doubt as MJCA pummeled the Bulldogs 51-20 Friday night before a happy homecoming crowd And you think they have done better this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  2. You just stated the problem. A school the size of RBS needs ALL the athletes to play ALL sports. I realize that some B-Ball players do play football but the team needs all the skilled players they can get. People need to not worry about their babies getting hurt, but realize playing football will make them better at basketball and vice versa. The same goes for baseball as well. The losing aty RBS not only looks bad on the team but it also reflects on the student body. It shows that if they really supported the football team and their school, every able bodied boy would be on the field busting their butt to help make it a success. Well I will quit because I just fell off my soapbox. Good luck RBS!!!
  3. What's that, practicing for 2 hours instead of 4? Or are they letting someone call the offensive plays that actually knows what the going on, instead of whooping and hollaring all the time.
  4. I do believe the coach and fans promised wins if a change was made. It was and the results are the same. Consistancy among coaches would go a long way in making the team winners on the field. I hear the supporters are now calling for Baughn to be replaced, so I guess he was not the answer to the Bulldogs woes. Hopefully they will get on track Friday night at MJCS, but I doubt it if they play and the game is called like it has been all season long. If RBS doesn't win at MJCS then there battle cry can be wait until next year!!
  5. Baughn only coached baseball for 1or 2 years and that was about 4 years ago. He should be used to having parents stick their noses in where they don't belong because he encouraged them to do so last year so he could coach. The situation at RBS in not any better and will not be any better until more changes are made.
  6. From what I have seen, RBS has their hotheads too. But all this aside, the game should be a winable one for RBS, if they focus on the task at hand. From what I saw friday, they lose focus on their jobs and let the other team take advantage. I don't know if this comes from coaching or what. I hope these boys can get it together this week.
  7. LCAKNIGHTS2008, Do you remember last year when your team was predicting a large margin of victory against RBS and you were held to 12 points? The same thing could happen this year, especially if you go into the game overconfident. This team is due to catch a break and your game could be it.
  8. Hey Champ, looks like you only know how to put down the coaches at RBS. after readin your post on the RBS-GVILLE thread, it had a familiar ring to it so I decided to check out your posts and sure enough all you seem to know how to do is put down the coaches at RBS, especially when YOU do not get your way. Champ you just need to tuck your tail and leave the coaches alone.
  9. Clay Co. has had a week off and they are well rested. Clay Co. may be the 3rd best team in the region. The RBS Bulldogs are overmatched this week. Hope they can survive without any more serious injuries. CC-42 RBS-8
  10. One thing that is being overlooked is that Jackson Co. defeated a Pickett Co. team that in turn defeated a RBS team. Granted RBS appears to have improved, but is Gordonsville a good indication of that? Look at the common opponent of JC and Gville, Smith Co. SC defeated JC 49-6 and SC defeated Gville 48-0 and Gville beats RBS 39-14. So, why does anyone think that JC is going to lose to RBS? This is one of those games that both teams need a win but someone must lose. this game is a tossup.
  11. What was the score last year? Was it a blowout or what?
  12. The RBS and PC contest should be a good one this friday night. PC has one game under their belt while RBS has had 2 good showings in a scrimmage. This should be a close game with the team that can get healthy and stay healthy and make the fewest mistakes, coming out with a win. I wish both teams the best, but give the edge to the Bulldogs- 35-28.
  13. Why don't they want to hire Baughn? I figured the way the parents were calling for Boles' job and the way Baughn was going behind his back to get the job, it was a match made in @#$$. I don't know if Boles smelled a rat or was just fed up with the whole thing, but his resignation was a suprise and the Quarterback Club now has no plan. If they(QBC) aren't careful the program could be on its way out because after a couple of years they will barely have enough players and Baughn is known for running good players off.
