gomab nice post because alot of teams literally make me sick when i glance at them. The knicks are one team, the heat is another but my fav. team is the kings backed by the celtics and the kings play the best team ball in the league, especially in big games. The teams like the knicks and heat are teams that play with no desire and no heart and you can see it plain as day but all good things start with the office guys and the commisioner is partly to blame. Get a person with real love for the game such as a larry bird or a jerry west and i think you would for sure see a positive change in the way nba games are played.

i know this thread is to bring up officiating in clarkrange but the officiating in clarksville is just as horrifying. It is awful. I play for a team in clarksville and i know that in a game we lost last week we were up big in the 1st half only to lose the game in the 4th quarter because the fouls alone in the 4th quarter were 17 on us and 2 on the opposing team. I think the tssaa should put more refs through more experience and look at the quality of officiating overall because to this point in the seaons it is god awful!!!

yea i know about it, i got ejected in the 2nd quarter. It was a good game until this happened then we fell apart but all i know if that the only thing nashville christain has going for them is coaching and great shooting. Id put money on it they hit 15-20 3's. Unbeleivable shooting but this was the absolute worst refereed game ever! But our fans werent out of hand, the referees were out of hand and the 2 officials reffing should be prohibited from reffing another sporting event ever.

sycamore by 15-20, cheatam will be in it but will be outmanned but surely not outcaoched.

SO after a 6 win season last year and 11 so far this season and the first winning record since the school was formed id have to agree and say hey, this is a dynasty! NOT!! What are you kidding me? Just because you turn around a team doesnt mean youve turned them into a dynasty. Theyre a good team this year but are no where near a powerhouse team, so how can they be a dynasty??????

i play aau with kevin and quinn and both are very talented! As far as kevin goes, i wouldnt want another point gaurd in the state on my team from the way he played this summer!He was outstanding.However quinn was prolly our best defender from aau and he was also our leading scorer and primary shooter and ive noticed his first 3 yrs in highschool i dont think hes ever avg. more than 12 through a season which he could do easily but im not sure why he doesnt. SOme games heck put up 20-25 and then others heck score anywhere from 1-8 so i wish i knew what was happening and if we get both players back this summer then well arguably have one of the best teams. Last summer we lost once and that was to the stallions.

nice job to coach jackson and the rest of the cheatam cty. coaching staff. Coach jackson is one of the best!

hey look, antwon is going d-1, no doubt. He will be a solid player i just wish he could grow about 3 inches that way he could start at a forward position in college. His agility and footwork may be out of sync right now but hey, he still has 2 summers of aau left and another seaosn and half of aau ball. Let him evolve into his own perosn and then we can say what he needs to work on.

with the new addition of coach johny jackson to cheatam county it makes this game alot closer than many would predict. COach jackson is one of the top bball coaches in middle tn and can get his kids to play. i Can say this because 1. i have played for him and 2. they have already upset central and rossview this season.

i believe the earliest games start at 4 which on friday are the ca girls followed by the ca guys and then saturday the ca guys play at 5 30 and the ca girls team at 7 [Edited by SouthTnLooker on 12-20-02 2:08P]

i hope you all get to come down and watch it will be exciting but tnbball is right, brigham is a pure shooter and could be a scoring machince but i have close ties with aaron and the coach simply tells him that its not his role.I just wanna know whos role is it when their leading scorer prolly isnt averaging 10-12 pts per game.

if anyone is interested stewart county is hosting the annual christmas touney this season @ s.c.Participating as usual will be mont. central, stewart county, clarksville academy, and houston county. IT should be a great time to come see a few of the young stars form clarksville play such as brandon burney form central, brian skelton from houston county, and aaorn brigham from stewart county. SHould be an exciting weekend. the tourney is held on the 27th and 28th!

I play against brian at least twice every year and swamp tiger if youve never seen him hit a jumpshot then how many games have you watched him play. He can shoot from ANYWHERE ON THE COURT and yes he could start for anyteam in the state. He would be ranked in the top 10-15 in the state if he gave 100% night in and night out. Houston Co. does have one of the most underrated backcourts in all of tn with ross and skelton! Ross is almost gauranteed if your not glued to him. Hes quick , puts up his shot beofre its blocked and plays with as much heart and intesity as anyone in the state! Someone needs to watch this team play but other than those 2, houston county does not have much.

we played like s**t! we started off leading 5-0 but nc hit 3 strait 3's and we couldnt rebound all night. i had 3 fouls early in the second. i finshed with 15 pts in 14 minutes clarksville fan but ncs shouldnt be 5-0 not according to the way they played last night but they did get the win so nice job. I think both sides can speak about the refs in this one and it was a pitiful game. Ca was trying to fould ncs with about a minute and half left sicne we were only down 13, with 3 remaining and the refs wouldnt call a foul to stop the clock and we were mauling them. It was horrible but ca will get it together and make a strong run for the district.

i havent seen carter play at all so i cannot voice my opinion about carter and reed but we scrimmages kenwood twice recently.Antwon dominate as he should(with us lacking size) but sampson wasnt a real threat. In both scrimmages sampson serves as the pg, bringing the ball up and calling plays and so forth but he does play tremendous D or well he did against us anyway. thanks.

Has northwest been playing to potential this season so far?? Ive seen where theve lost a couple and so on for the clarksville teams. Right now it seems as if clarksville has some of the best talent youll find anywhere but our teams records arent very impressive. Could this be because were a young group, the lack of coaching or maybe its just too early and the clarksville teams will get it together later on. Also at northwest, how has thomas haynes been playing, hes ranked as one of the best players in the city and is a proven player but has he had a strong start to his senior season to impress people?

their next game wont be easy. tuesday at CA, who have they played so far this season?

Who has been on the schedule for ncs so far this season and distrct 10-a will be tight so people shouldnt be watching out for any specific team just yet!

everyone has a bad game now and then but 42 is amazing

clarksville academy hosted the university school of nashville for their opener and it was a heck of a game. A loud crowd that did make an impact on the game. CA struggled in the first half down 20-36 and were being out hustled for the ball with their big guy on the bench with 3 fouls. CA started strong in the third going on a 14-4 run but a 3 late in the qurter left it 43-34 at the end of 3. Ca started hot again in the 4th and had cut it to 3 at 55-58 with just over a minute to go but couldnt quite catch up and a lousy first half with an extraordinary effort in the second helped spark the comeback but it wasnt enough as CA fell 55-59 to a weaker USN squad.

haha, nice pst tnbball even though i belive you may be going out on a limb with those rankings but i didnt play very well against yall monday. Fisher is a sr! he transferred from ca and yes is good but very lazY!

if people arent busy, clarksville academy plays tuesday night @ CA against university school of nashville. Should be fun to watch and i think coach kendrick will have his boys ready to play.
