  1. Howard Vs. Brainerd has to be the best rivalry in the state. When the two play each other it brings out the best and they sell more tickets than UTC
  2. I confused your quote with alwaysballin. Now you find my quote in these post when I said that ER did not have any talent. But you did say that Michael Ford was playing and he was too old. You dont know what you are talking about Like I said this year was suppose to be his senior year along with Halfacre. They played at Orchard Knob middle together when alton park had Walter Dozier at PG and Satterfield at SG. Orchard Knob's football team also had Halfacre at QB and Ford played WR, guess who their RB was Rico Council who is now playing for the tigers football team so how can these kids be to old
  3. You People hate it. I didnt realize it but Howard has been good in B-ball for a long time. MOTIVATION. all your hating is fuel to my fire, but the tigers aint slowing down nor stopping
  4. Why do people feel the need to LIE!! Right now Michael Ford is in Juvenille. Allen Ray played a lot as a freshman he is not to old. I have known him everysince he was a kid he has a younger brother names eric ray who is still at howard they are close in age Why do you people feel the need to lie. When Sir Lee was a senior Allen Ray was a sophmore. Sir Lee is now a Senior in college do the math
  5. TSSAA would not let ineligble players play!!! Chattanooga needs to stop their hatred of Howard and Brainerd b-ball teams. Name me one player that Howard has played that is to old PLEASE NAME ONE!!!!
  6. You need to know what you are talking about first KID!!!! Satterfield and Halfacre have been playing varsity since the ninth grade that may be why you think they have been there for so long. Michael Ford dropped out last year which was his junior year and he didnt play b-ball last year. Ford is 18 now he was the best player in the city as a sophmore. Satterfield started as a sophmore. Halfacre is not a full time starter dont hate because Howard is talented you are speaking on kids you have no clue about. Ford and Halfacre played at Orchard Knob together and Satterfield played at Alton Park in the back court with Walter Dozier. Get your facts straight
  7. Rico Council- Howard Dee Joseph- Howard Corey Hall- Brainerd Sydney Tarver-Baylor Dozier - McCallie
  8. That loss came at the begining of the season when Howard just lost its star player Michael Ford. They found a way to come out of that loss victorius. You saw what happened after they learned to play without him. What team wouldnt hurt after they lost a player of his caliber. You have seen him play if you are from Chattanooga and you know yourself how special he was and you also know that Phillip Jurick doesnt belong on the same floor as that guy
  9. Dominique Taylor from Howard is the best dunker in chattanooga
  10. I could care less about how he spells his name the fact is and you know it is that he is soft and Howard will manhandle them. He wont even be the best player on the court.
  11. Adrian Bentley who is he!! He most certainely is not one of the top backs in the city. Rico Council is far better than he is, Otis Rhumph is too. Bentley may be the worst.
  12. Patrick Planagan was a good player but to put him on this list HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  13. I guess I have to see him play this season. He only scored 10 points against Howard last year and his shot was blocked by much smaller players
  14. They both are wing players and they both are juniors. they are about 6'2" but Taylor plays above the rim. I didnt say they should be nationally ranked but they are both better than Jurick. The pictures show Jurick getting his shot blocked by Ricks who is way shorter than he is and they also show Taylor Dunking over Jurick. I was just showing that Jurick is so overrated, I admit he does have the size but he plays much smaller. I also wanted to show you that Howard did have the best team in the City last year

  16. The Howard Hustlin Tigers overcame a huge first quarter deficit to defeat the Pioneers of East Ridge 47-40 at Howard Tuesday night. Trailing 20-1 at one point in the first quarter the Hustlin Tigers slowly clawed their way back into the game and rallied for a key district 6-AA victory. High-flying Dominique Taylor carried the Hustlin Tigers on his back with 22 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter. Howard started Tuesday night's match-up ice cold. Missing their first eleven shots from the field, the Hustlin Tigers did not manage a field goal until only 50 seconds remained in the 1st quarter. East Ridge started the game on fire, hitting their first three shots of the game and jumping out to an early 6-0 lead. Silky smooth Alex Wells knifed his way into the Howard defense, drawing fouls, and nailing buckets off the dribble. Midway through the quarter Wells was knocked down shooting a triple and completed the four point play. Phillip Jurrick got into the action early with eight points, including a thunderous two-hand slam that rattled the backboard and the Hustlin Tigers. After going 7-12 in the 1st quarter, the Pioneers went cold in the second, connecting on only two of their fourteen shot attempts. The Hustlin Tigers, pressing the Pioneers everywhere on the floor, managing to cut the deficit to single digits going into halftime. The Hustlin Tigers came alive in the second half, swarming the Pioneer ball handlers defensively and causing East Ridge to play anxiously and out of control. With the deficit teetering at six points at the end of the 3rd quarter Howard smelled blood and Dominique Taylor came alive. # 23 took over the 4th quarter, taking his play above the rim and to every corner of the court. The Howard chants became deafening after a Taylor slam reminiscent of another Dominique. With the Pioneers clinging desperately to a one-point lead with 4:21 left Taylor nailed a triple giving Howard their first lead of the game. The comeback was complete, and the Hustlin Tigers never looked back. Dominique Taylor finished the game for the Hustlin Tigers with 22 points, 12 in the fourth quarter to cap Howard’s comeback. After starting the game 1 for 15 the Hustlin Tigers shot 14 for 23 over the next three quarters, including a blistering 75% in the final quarter, as they chased down the Pioneers. The Pioneers placed two players in double digits. Both Tony Starr and Phillip Jurrick scored 10 points for East Ridge. Alex Wells, after getting off to a hot start, did not score in the second half and finished with 8 points. Jurrick sitting on the bench most of the 3rd with foul trouble, scored only 2 points in the second half before fouling out in the 4th. With the victory the Hustlin Tigers continue to dominate District 6-AA, improving their record to 18-5 overall, and 11-1 in the district. They trail only 24-1 McMinn Central in Region 3. East Ridge at 10-3 in the district shares second place with Notre Dame, also 10-3. The Howard women also were victorious, holding off a furious rally by the Pioneers in the final period. With a little over a minute left East Ridge trailed by just two after being down by double digits early in the 4th quarter. The Hustlin Tigers hung on and defeated the Pioneers 51-42. 17. They wont be nationally ranked because they play as a team. If Howard didnt have the best team in Chattanooga then who did? the only good arguement is Red Bank. Most of Howards team was sophmores last year and they all return. Redandwhiteforever why didnt you respond to my post saying that Jurick couldnt hold a candle to Michael Ford. I hope you are at that game when Howard plays East Ridge so you can see the whipping they put on them. How many times has East Ridge beat Howard in the last 10years, why is it that all of a sudden you think that you are able to play with Howard
  18. What do you mean who? Howard has Dominique Taylor and D. Ricks!!! These two will be unstopable forces this year. Howard did have the best team in the city last year REMEMBER
  19. What do you mean who? Howard has Dominique Taylor and D. Ricks!!! These two will be unstopable forces this year. Howard did have the best team in the city last year REMEMBER
  20. Phillip Jurrick is so overrated we will see when the season begins
  21. why is it that people even naming Phillip Jurrick in this post he is not even the best player in Chattanooga. Howard has two or three guys better than him the only reason they dont put up big numbers is because they play as a team
  22. Everyone with the exception of lloyd must be pioneer fans because there is no way the Pioneers will beat Howard this year. Howard is loaded and they pick up transfer Walter Williams from Chattanooga High. This squad was top 3 in the city and they lost the best player in the city last year in Michael Ford who Juaric couldnt hold a candle to. Juaric is the only player that Howard has no answer for but the Pioneers will not be able to answer any of Howards to 7 players. Ricks and Taylor will have great junior seasons and the tigers will return all of these players next year. But we all know how chattanooga is, they always downplay Howard. Hands down Howard will be the best team in the city!!!!!
  23. How can you put Brainerd in the honorable mention and not put Howard in it. The Hustlin Tigers defeated Brainerd twice last year and they return all of their players from last years squad. They may even be the best team in Chattanooga
