  2. No, forget that!! Houdini Davenport already wears Rebel Blue (#4) /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  3. A trick or two??????? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Ralfie better bring Houdini to the game. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  4. Not to be insulting, but just honest---I don't agree with much that you say on here, but usually just keep my mouth shut, but this time, just to correct you----South faithful (all inclusive, as you suggest) did not jump on the North wagon. I picked you by 6 pts, if I remember correctly-----------due to your injuries. That's all I have to say.
  5. Raiders vs Vikings::::: For me, like many, I'm sure, know the recent Vikings history and, well, we are familiar with the Raider history, as well. Unless you are one of the Raider faithful (which I'm not), who knows this team, the personnel, the skill level and performance capabilities, ---this would appear to be a classic David vs Goliath epic. All has been documented about the Vikings injuries and all has been discussed about the Raider season-to-date weak schedule, but now it's down to the "nut-crackin", as they say. The sports experts are favoring North (5 out of the 7), mostly by narrow margins. I think two of them are on funny weed--favoring North by more than a touchdown. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> I give very little edge to THS for their home-field advantage, for I feel that North's positive attitude offsets any homefield advantage that THS thinks it has. This is a very interesting matchup----THS's tough run defense vs North's solid run offense. It might just come down to the mistakes and turnovers. (that's not a cliche---I think it is true for this one) If Bradley Tallman is back from injuries--------I'll take THS in this one. If Bradley is out--I'll go with North. I'd be at this one, for sure, if my Rebels weren't playing. Good luck to both teams that you have a great, safe game--no injuries.
  6. I take it that you don't agree with coaches trying to limit their athletes in playing other sports. I, also, do not approve of the action. 99% (well, most of them) of high school athletes will never play on a college field or ever possess their own college uniform. High School (4 of the best years of their life) should be enjoyed playing every sport that a student can play, with grades and education coming first. Now, there may be situations where a kid is hoping to go college in one sport, i.e. baseball. His baseball coach may say to him, "I think you have a good chance of being a pitcher in college" and the kid may decide to give up football or basketball to achieve his potential, but that is his and his families choice. The coach should step out of it and make the best with what the kid decides, without undue pressure from the coaches. But in this situation, that coach probably had the best interest of the athlete in mind. In that case, the coach was just following his gut feeling and trying to help the kid. Agree? Just a discussion, not defending any current situation at Central or anywhere else.
  7. Admonish----means reprimand---I think you meant something like "revel in" ???????
  8. Congratulations to Senior Rick Neeley on being Defensive Player of the Game against Boone. This is one of those boys that has played limited time in his previous yrs--who obviously loves football and has chosen to "stick it out" and make the sacrifice, and waited for his time to shine. He has been a fixture on special teams and is now getting his deserved shot. Ricky has always been known for his hard hitting style, although he's not a huge kid. Rick----I'm proud of you and I know that your parents are proud and gleaming.
  9. What is the extint of Justin Sylvester's injury??
  10. How does a Central vs South thread become a DB is BEST thread????? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Just can't leave it alone, huh? /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  11. Dressed out this week in full pads, running and cutting, but will wait until next week to hit. That's the word, anyway.
  12. Very good points in your posts. I believe you'll win this one----Good Luck.
  13. The J.V. Rebels will be in from the 2nd half kick off.
  14. Mutt and Comp----- Put your 2 post together and we'd have the best darn lesson ever. There's a few more that volunteer, like Beedle, McGlothlin, Ramey (who does not even have a son on the team), Fletcher(s), Rogers, Witherspoons, Smith(s), and more. But you know what, just another lesson in human nature---I heard people say---Yeah, if I was at South as much as they are---my son would be starting too. What a crock!!! You know what---I'm inviting them right now---Give it a try! /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" /> Enjoyed your posts. I'm moving on to more positive things now. No more venting on this subject for me. Want to bet? /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Go Rebels, every one of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  15. Are you a gentleman? or a MORON?----Ya-Ya-di-Ya-Ya!! Hey, you got your points in and I feel I did also, now what do ya say, we kiss and make up (oops, your wife may not like that) and spare everyone else our pains. You know this message board is a Fantasy anyway, I would never talk to you in person like this, if I knew who you were. I'm done ---- hope to talk to you soon in a pleasant manner. Bye.
  16. Holy Batman---you, again. I wasn't guessing anything. I was (get this, will you) just trying to mention some names that I thought would help us next year--------what is your problem, MORON??????? HEY MORON---I never said that I know the facts, I never claimed to know the facts, IT WAS MY OPINION-----I have my right to my opinion. Get off my ASSumption.
  17. Well, I guess I'm just going to have to start hanging out at all the practices. I don't know about all the "boys are not "allowed" to hit him (TF)" thing. I don't know where you have been sweetheart, but at the games I've been to, he has seen some time on defense, just limited, IMO, in order rest him for Defense, not because he might get hurt.. Now, I may be wrong, it's just my opinion, so I know I'm opening myself up once again to your blasting of my opinion, but so be it. True Gentlemen--you might want to start hanging out at the Day Spa, instead of CoachT, /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Ruffled Feathers---yes, you came on my post and acted like I was putting players down when I simply didn't list them on MY 2009 Radar Screen---suggesting that I need to come to the JV games--------I've been to everyone of them. Moron?---go back and read your original reply---now you act like it wasn't an attack on me?? "know what opinions are like"???---no what are they like. Is it kind of like ASSUMING?????
  18. Don't ask me, after all, I never go to any of the J.V. or Freshman games. No, I got it, I think we'll have 57 kids substituting in at the other linebacker spot----after all, I don't want to hurt any parent's feelings!!!!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  19. I don't know why you are talking to me about "Supporting the team". If you knew me, you'd never question my support of the Whole Team, but for someone to come on here and douche me for simply naming some of the unheard heroes when I was just trying to encourage some of them--well that's totally uncalled for. I'm guessing its one of the parents who have caused problems before when little Johnnie didn't get to play as much as they thought. Secondly, I'm not worried about next year----but I'll posts about it all I want----It was a discussion, for God's sake, I wasn't picking the team or cutting anyone from the team---------Don't insult me by suggesting that I'm not completely supportive.
  20. Hey, Comp, I know you and Cap are like brothers, but come on----you've seen them both play. Do you really think Vikes will win this one?? I pick Toppers by 13.
  21. I have been to the JV games and I wasn't attempting to name the current JV players, moron. I was saying who I thought would be the 2009 playmakers, get it?. Yes, I know that Hubbard is not playing JV linebacker, but I saw him play Freshman Linebacker and I think he is an excellent LB. I'm sorry if I didn't name your son as one of the playmakers. This team has alot of debth and will be able to field positions 2 deep with immeasureable falloff, but go find you a stump to kick, because all I was trying to do was to get some names on here thinking that those boys and parents would enjoy seeing those names and it would encourage them. And while you're at it, learn how to spell. And for speculation--idiot, since I'm not a coach and have no say in who will start at what positions, that's exactly what it was --S-P-E-C-U-L-A-T-I-O-N. For St.Clair---every kid out there is put at risk every play of every practice and every play of every game----if someone hasn't told you---IT"S FOOTBALL. Do you think that Aaron, while running Dummy Team against the 1st team defense in practice, is not at risk-----HA. Well, I guess when we were up 50 pts on JC, they shouldn't have put him in the game, for risk that he would be hurt and 2009 would be at risk--HA. AS a Freshman and Sophomore, Aaron played 3rd place to CP and now as a Junior, he's playing 2nd to BD. He is an ATHLETE and a very smart one and deserves to play wherever and whenever he can. Oh, why don't we ask Aaron and see what he thinks. Let me guess, your son is not playing and Aaron is the reason, rightt?? Go eat a rock.
  22. You're right! How did he read that I was putting Central down? I know alot of folks from Central and have been around Central football, indirectly, for several years and I look forward to when Central can have success. I can understand how those injuries might have Central supporters a little stressed right now, so NO HARM DONE. CHSFball78---------good luck with the remainder of your year.
  23. Oh, I think we'll just keep our program open, at least for one more week.
  24. What's the comparison between Central and South? Walk over South?---Are you on the Funny Weed or have lead poisoning or what?
