  1. Not all. I think Heritage will win. And I hope Heritage will win.... Playing their "A" game here at the end of the season. If they bring their "A" game against Cascade, they will win dominatly!
  2. If that was an apology, I've been teaching my kids all wrong. Canesoverhere, doesn't PWI carry a 5 post suspension? Or atleast a 3 post ban for using the "I mistyped" excuse. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  3. Good win Lady Commandos! Will Govea be allowed to play against Franklin?
  4. it would have been a 44 or 46 yard FG. They had to try and get the first down. Dixon slipped as he made the turn. Great game. Just didn't like the turnout. Hopefully we will see each other in the playoffs. BDP
  5. I am trying to understand some of this. Hopefully someone in here can clarify it for me. I heard that TSSAA is reclassifying schools in 2008. First does that mean the affected schools will change in 2008 or 2009? And secondly, how is the reclassification done in soccer. Football has 5 classifications. Soccer doesn't have that many. How will TSSAA decide who moves and who stays where they are? I couldn't find anything on the TSSAA website. If anyone has a site that has any info, that would be appreciated also. BDP
  6. Score just came across CoachT scoreboard Heritage 41 - mtcs - 6 BLUECREW32, heck of a pick.... very close.
  7. I find it hard to believe that Middle Tennessee Christian could even hang with the Patriots. Much less win. But it's makin' me kinda nervous not seeing a score this late in the night.... Anyone????????
  8. From what I've seen and heard from a Franklin dad I work with . Yall should still win. Those girls, even with out #7 should put Ravenwood out. That would be my pick....
  9. I went to the game, also. Very physical game. It was starting to get out of hand, with the "banging." I knew the cards were soon to follow. I've seen it before. The refs start throwing the cards to get the game back under control. Beech got 2 yellow cards. One on 13 and one on 21. And I must say,,, that red card was awful!!!!!! It was an aggressive play. And yes, a little blatent. A yellow card foul, it was. A red card, it wasn't. Number one it wasn't a particulurly nasty play. Number two, this is the playoffs. Better judgement could have been used. Hendersonville hung tough a man down. Very good game. I enjoyed it well. Good Luck to both the rest of the way through. BDP
  10. I went to the Hendersonville / Beech game tonight. I didn't matter who won that game. Nothing against beech. Franklin is just waaaayyy better. Beech had 7 shots on goal. (Nothing hard) Hoffman, the goalie for Beech is good. Hendersonville shot on her 8 times. 1 fell in. A good shot. That goalie is going to have alot more shots. And way more solid.
  11. What time is the game? Hopefully the rains won't cancel it.........
  12. I am soooo ready for Friday night. This is going to be a chess match between Porter and Hollinsworth. Whichever coach makes the right calls,,,,,,,and team has the least turnovers will win. White House 17 Station Camp 13
  13. I was doing some checking on Kat Nigro. Wow, she has already had some big accomplishments. USSF National ID Camp ODP Region 3 Team 3 Time All Tournament 8 Time MVP Numerous tournaments Olympic Development Program. And get this......she graduates in 2011 She's a Freshman??????? Not to mention a 4.0 GPA.
  14. So, they are playing at Station Camp???? And if so. When and what time???
  15. These Franklin Rebels have been quietly powering their way through the ranks. After the dominating win over hunters Lane. Do they have the talent and muscle to potentially go all the way? I am not as knowlegable about the Rebel program as i would like to be. However, The scores and posts I am seeing, they seem to be a really solid program very capable of taking it to state. Solid in the goal, Solid on defense, Solid on offense. Is there a chink in the armor? Who could their next "L" come from? If anyone...............
  16. Being a Beech Alumni, I want my beloved Bucaneers to win. But if i had to bet my house on the game, I would have to go with the Commandos. Both have quality programs. Just think Hendersonville will eeek this one out. I will be there to watch this one. BDP
  17. Anyone have a score on the Friendship Christian / Livingston Academy game?
  18. So right, BT Mafia. JV scored more than varsity did. 5 - JV to 2- Varsity. This is the Region Semi's. Alot of these girls don't even get to play. Let alone in the playoffs. If I'm in the reserves, I'm not going out there and play keep away. I'm going to try and impress the coach and score a playoff goal. Or as a reserve defender, try and stop a starter. Thats the way these girls see it. Not as running up a score. As far as the Williamson Co./ Davidson Co. issue. That a whole other can of worms.
  19. Awsome win for Heritage. I was pleasantly blown away when I heard the score. That ought to get some love sent your way. Congrats nice win over Jo Byrns. Sending a statement to everyone out there.
  20. Facts are facts. It's not a shot at anyone. But an informative statement. We like facts in sports. And thats all that it is.
  21. I may open a whole can of worms here. But, how are the refs assigned? I mean, you know some are more knowlegable than others. It just stands to reason. I have seen that in some of our games the reffing is unbelievable. And yes, I know we hear that on every team that loses a game. I believe that every ref wants to make the right call. I do not believe that there is any ref that wants to influence a game with calls or no calls. (opinions on that...start another thread.) However, I also believe that a smaller district will get the less knowlegeable refs. not everyone can be the ref that gets an A+ on their test. There are some that pass with "D's." And I believe that some less, "impactive districts" will get these refs. That scares me. Not because of bad calls. But, because I don't want our girls getting hurt. Case in point? We played Station Camp in the playoffs. For the first time all year, we had 3 refs. They made only one bad "no call" that I could see. I could tell that they were a caliber above the refs that were at our games during regular season. (for the most part.) May not be the perfect system. But, what do you do? We just grit our teeth, hope they are OK. And give them high fives when they walk off the field. They are seniors in a flash, and it's over. So, enjoy. Stay safe. "And call the tough calls."
  22. I must respectfully disagree. While your team does have a nice field. White Houses field is definatly the best in the district. And I'm not taking a shot at anyone. We have people that "dialy take care of that field . Manacured to perfection. Just check with any other team in our district. Or for that matter, anyone that has played on our field. Everyone, I mean everyone that has played on our field comments on how plush and smooth our field is. We take pride on how smoothe our filed is. No holes to twist an ankle. No bare spots to slide a cleat in. And fully irrigated. And yes we have lights. Anyway, I have heard that White House is next in the rotation. On another note. I went to the FCS / Station Camp game. Awsome play on both sides. I was really pulling for you FCS girls. But, it looks like yall will have to take the long road. Good luck. And a safe game for all teams. "BDP FOREVER LADY DEVILS"
  23. There is a story in White House about a man, many years ago that said BDP didn't really exist. He disappeared soon after. And noone has seen him since. I hear that if you ride through Portland on a late foggy night. You can hear a voice from the hills moaning "I believe in BDP, now please get me outta' here."
  24. Friendship Christian - 0 Station Camp - 1 Very physical gamw. Most physical game I've seen yet. The only goal was scored early in the first, with a decent shot. But the wet ball couldn't be hadled by the goalie. Good showing by both teams. There were allot of sore ankles and shins after that game. Number 13 for station Camp was injured on a collision for the ball with 3 Friendship Christian. 13 was called for the foul, but even worse she couldn't continue on. She was on crutches after the game. Hope that was just precautionary. Hope she is ok to continue on. A bunch of limping muddy players. Livingston Academy is playing York Institute tonight. So, I guess that will decide who these teams play.
