OS is not scared to play Rockwood. They did not want to play them in week 0 and that was the only date open for both teams.

I've not seen Unicoi, but they must be awfully good to play with Science Hill. I agree with Goose, they could beat some boys teams and I think they could beat most high schools girls teams in Roane Co. #44 is a monster and I don't think #12 missed a shot.

Amen to that. I will be shocked if anyone beats Science Hill. Cherokee actually played well and fought hard, but SH is in a whole other league. North lost to Sevierville last night, so it will be Sevierville- Unicoi Co in the semis.

Where is the large school sectional being played?

Good job Bobcats. Hope you carry the momentum to Sweetwater. OS like W-burg also has alot of youth. Both teams should have much more success next year. I want to commend both teams for hanging in there all season.

#1 yes the f bomb was used #2 I spoke with the resource officer. He was brought up there by the OS fans. He did not ask the coaches to leave they decided to leave on their own. # 3 It was the younger coach who had the confrontation with the fans. When you decide to coach and represent the school and town you have to act professionally. You cannot confront fans. # I've yet to see any names on here. Get over it. If you don't want people to talk about you don't act like a fool in front of a whole crowd of people.

The OS coaches absolutely DID NOT chase the referees after this game. One assistant coach asked a referee about all the cheap shots but the other coaches including the head coach shook hands with the players and opposing coaches then went to the field house. The coach on top of the press box was dropping the f bomb so frequently that a mother asked him to stop because there were children in the stands and that was when he started yelling at the fans. It was mostly only one of the assistants on the press box.

You CANNOT turn around a program in 1 year, especially in this region.

It will be interesting to see how many players teams like OS and Wartburg have playing next year with the new classification. I know OS has several kids not playing simply because they don't want to play teams like Alcoa. When you only have 35 kids to start with and most of your team going both ways those injuries are so costly. That is why it is so hard to rebuild a program when it is down. Kids don't want to play for a losing team, but those kids must play in order to turn it around. It is a vicious cycle.

This guy is one of the main reason people are bashing grace. Frankly, you ###### people off. Not only do you post about Grace and sing your own praises you post about other losing teams and down them on other threads. I mean really what do you expect when you put Striving for Perfection after every post considering the teams you beat. And no, not every school recruits. Most get the occasional transfer and play with whoever comes through the door.

Yeah because OS is losing because of a lack of knowledge. It has absolutely nothing to do with the players and the fact that several freshman are starting at key areas. Boy if they had Coach McKamey's knowledge they would be "Striving for Perfection" and would beat McMinn Central and Alcoa right? Please send them some of that knowledge or maybe just a few of your RECRUITED players or maybe some of your HIGHLY PAID assistants or your excellent facilities that were PAID for with DONATED money- never mind- just the knowledge because thats all that is lacking right. Guess you need all that knowledge to beat Jellico, Taft, North Greene, etc right.

I can't believe someone from Sunbright would have the nerve to call Coalfield and OS the worst two teams in hs football. I would like to see the results if Sunbright played OS's schedule. I mean honestly OS plays ALCOA- state champs- 3 years running. Loudon- at least 600 kids this year will be AAA, CAK, Silverdale- private, McMinn- who I predict to go undefeated and deep in the playoffs, and Kingston- AAA. As for Coalfield- check Sunbrights record w them and lets see how the Tigers do against Oneida- it will as bad or worse against Sunbright. OS will have a bad record this year, but lets see how they do next year against equal competition.

Too many turnovers, and too many penalties for Kingston. Other than the long run by Sams, Harriman dominated up front. They pushed Kingston around all night. Kingston is going to have to become more disciplined if they expect to make the playoffs.

Not OS, but if it was I wouldn't deny it. I support Kingston, but I keep up with all the Roane Co. teams. Did you stop supporting McMinn two years ago when they only won one game. Ever heard of having to rebuild. Most teams have to do it.
