Wife, girlfriend, or mom?

Maybe I should have said, turning things around, although the last few games seemed to reflect the beginning of the season, I thought the Lady Highlanders would finish the year with more in the win column than not.

Beginning the season looking dismal, turning it on in mid season, how do you think the Lady Highlanders will end the season?

I think this team has suprised everyone. We are proud of the Lady Highlanders and wish them well for the remainder of the season.

I love it, love it, love it! Talk about a double standard. First and foremost, it's been my experience that humiliation to any child at any time doesn't help. There are ways to challenge a child that do not involve humilitation. I also find it contradictory that in today's politically correct seeking society we still allow coaches to conduct themselves in such a manner. It's also been my experience that those that say "quit breast feeding your child", are also those who are quick to hoot and holler when their child is repremanded outside of sports. I mean "get real". Just my opinion.

They play Gibbs tonight. Any thoughts on the outcome?

They're able to hang with two of the toughest teams in the district, at least during the first half of the game.

I think they have a few younger girls with some talent who seemed to be able to take Marcum's "type of discipline" at least for now. We'll see. I think he has what it takes to build a team if given the time.

I agree that they have the coach that knows what's going on, but maybe they need to focus on keeping players from year to year. Maybe they always have a young team because the older players don't hang with it. Although they are skimpy on talent this team has a lot of heart. They just need to channel it.

Way to go Lady Highlanders! It was a nice win against a team that beat them earlier in the year too!

They played Stone Memorial and were only down by 5 at the half. The final score was 47 to 75.

What happened friday. Great first half, they were able to hang with one of the top teams of the district. Did they forget to show up the second half?

Did scott play over thanksgiving?

How do you think Scott High will do against Cumberland Gap tonight and Kingston tomorrow night? Then on to Friday's game at Stone Memorial.

Haven't had a chance to see the Lady Highlanders this year. My prediction is that they will win 3 or 4 district games this year, but maybe I'm being too optimistic.
